I tried waiting for the castle to stop moving and then shot, the bombs didnt explode in mid-air and i cleard castle 22 in a couple of tries, (finally after fifty attempts of royal failure..)

Tip for castles 23 and 24: shooting all the ammo consequently (three bomb) in fast pace (not waiting for the results of each shot) helped me to pass. it sort of wobbles and rattles the castles. got me to the target in less than 10 tries.
click, click, click... shoot, reload, shoot, reload etc.
