keto100, you can refresh. The only time you can't is after the last shot is fired and is unsuccessful. It's annoying that you can't refresh then too, but that is the way the game was designed for some reason. The refresh button does actually work as intended.

I tried waiting for the castle to stop moving and then shot, the bombs didnt explode in mid-air and i cleard castle 22 in a couple of tries, (finally after fifty attempts of royal failure..)

on the last castle, if i could just send one of my troops to run up and shank the princess would that count? I seriously doubt she has combat training.
