The trick to getting money isn't gathering the coins, it's maxing out the time before you hit the ground. You get an increase of x1 for every 10 seconds you're in the air, so using the rocket thrusters to keep hitting bounce pads and stay in the air longer is the way to rack up the most money at once.

I loved hedgehog launch, I swear I played the sequel, either I don't remember it being this atrociously bad or I never played it.

This game was pretty subpar for its time, and feels even worse now. The success of any given run is completely out of your control. No platforms to send you higher? Enjoy your $0.00 and wasted time.

I don't get it, why the background is upside-down at the start? And why no matter what direction I point at launch the hedgehog has always to hit the ground 1st? Is it meant to be this way?

I just got the hard badge.
This is what i did:
Day 1: upgrade launcher (2,1,1). Drag the launcher all the way to the bottom left. GET LUCKY, hit as many colored bars as possible to get height for point gold multipliers.
Day 2: Upgrade level 2 radar and put the rest in rocket tank (+ left and right if you got more money. Use the radar to help aim for the bars. I reached the moon + a bit more on this round. (also had lots of luck)
Day 3: Max fuel tank + radar. Then sped the rest on left+right rocket, and the launcher. I got 1 point in fuel sucker, but when i reached mars, i had pretty much full tank, so not sure if it's needed or not. REACH MARS!

Step 1: drag the launcher all the way to the bottom left or right corner of the screen, hit as many bars and get as much gold as possible.
Step 2: upgrade radar and fuel tank as much as possible. a point in fuel sucker doesn't hurt either.
step 3: just aim for the bars until you reach mars
I got it in 5 days with a really bad start, so getting the BOTD should be fine.

this game may as well not even have graphics since it's impossible to play without radar and you'll end up playing with your eyes glued to it for the whole time

Pull the hedge down to the bottom of the screen. Had fun once I figured that out lol. Fun game but should have some captions just showing the direction of the hedge at least.

The hard badge on this game shouldn't exist. All RNG, endless resets, and it encourages you to play the game in a way that goes directly against how it's meant to be played

For the hard badge, buy radar and buy fuel tank. Restart until you earn a few thousand on day one. I got $7,000 by being insanely lucky and was able to finish on day 2.

You know that feeling of satisfaction when you beat a game and achieve a goal? Yeah, there's none of that with this P.O.S. I hate this game...and I got the badge. A string of expletives should not follow a victory...but this game brings it out of ya'. Brutal.
