I got to mars in 5 days, I felt like getting there in 3 days wasn't worth it. You have to restart over 100 times to get the perfect scenario on day 1. If you don't get 4k+ on day one, it is impossible to make it to mars in 3 days.

How the hell do you play this game? Are you kidding me? Hedgehog LAUNCH. Which direction do you usually launch something? Click. Pull. Launch. Arrows to move. Up to use emergency boost. Space to deploy parachute. Simple.

ugh...the hard badge is a matter of trying a few dozen runs before the first 2 runs get lucky and give you 20 to 30 times the money to work with. And no, ~2500% is not an exageration: my worst day 1 is 47 cents while my best is 124 dollars.

It's like Learn to Fly 3, except the moon is considerably nearer, even if you do start at the opposite side of the world...

I followed Muskar's advice, restarted a couple of times and got 5.5k on the first day, then ended up bouncing all the way to mars on day 2, lol.

For hard badge, I upgraded rocket fuel and a direction on the first day. Managed to make a decent amount of $$. At that point, more fuel and booster are good, but radar and fuel sucker should be a priority. With those, I managed to get enough money for some e-rockets on day 3. The rest went into maxing radar, fuel sucker and fuel amount. With these, I could just bounce around until I found a good path up. Used my second e-rocket to breach the line to Mars on day 3.

Okay, so for anyone struggling, rockets and radar are your best friends simply because they allow you to reach platforms. Purple and yellow are the best money makers, best height-reachers and give you the best chance of reaching another platform, but don't scoff at green and blue they can still help. Your first few days are about staying up the longest and getting used to the controls. Time in the air is just as important as height, so focus on upgrading your rockets and fuel first. After a few upgrades, upgrade your launcher bit by bit and make sure you balance them out and always save up if you can so money isn't wasted. I reached the moon on day 18 and mars on day 19. It's possible.

Easily one of the worst "easy" badges there is.
The directional confusion, the lack of explanation on whether or not the left rocket GOES left or is ON the left, the lack of tutorial in how things work, the opposite band pull glitch... this game never deserved the BotD

I honestly don't see much of a difference here compared to the first one, except that you have to pull toward the sky and dig underground to reach the air. The first few tries, you really have to get lucky to get any money, but once you got a decent set-up, you get miles ahead. The game definitely needs a better understanding of its physics (and maybe an arrow to show where to pull for day one).

I think this game suffers from an existential crysis, it wants to be a grind-to-win, but the badges demand you to beat it long before you do any grinding, seriously, what are you smoking? can I have some?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I decided to max left booster and Fuel reserves. Went full speed in one direction, got distracted, came back to my computer 30 minutes later and the hedgehog is still flying...

I wanted to love this game. I really did. But it is so broken and based on pure luck (especially for the badges), that I can barely give it a 2 star. I would give it a 1 star if not for the fact that it seemed well intentioned.

day 4: $11,948,442, was trying to go as high as possible (hit mars on 3rd day) but got tired after 15 min so let it fall sideways for 15 more mins. I think i somehow skipped the fun in this game tho :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
who the **** decided to make this game a badge of the day, it doesn't even make any sense? im upside down for no reason, and no matter which way i pull the band it always does the same thing with almost no effect on how high i go. I can only hope the game is actually broken and needs to be fixed. if not then kong has lost their ****ing minds :P.

Okay, so apparently the best strategy later on isn't skill, it's just...letting your hedgehog bounce off of every platform willy-nilly, using up all the fuel on purpose, and you get a ridiculous amount of time in the air and height. I don't...what?

I survived so long on a single day trying to get to the moon that i got enough money to basically teleport myself to mars. Sadly it was 6 days and not 3.

Having a problem with this game. Whenever I start, I can't stop myself from spending all $40 on adorable accessories for my hedgehog, and whenever I earn enough money to get an upgrade, I immediately waste it on more accessories. If anyone else has this problem, and knows how to fix it, please help.

I dunno if it's my comp but after the e rocket upgrade, it wouldn't fire, then the side rockets didn't fire for me until I lost all momentum. I did not enjoy this as much as the previous ones. This was a frustrating grindfest rather than a fun grind fest :( unless you get lucky and don't have all the platforms incredibly far apart before you get the radar.

After all these years, and comparing to what we have now and what was released back then... it's 100% accurate to say: this game is a huge crap.

This is getting annoying. After playing one round for what felt like forever (clock said 35 minutes, but I don't know if that is for only this round or for all the rounds together), I decided to just stop give up and go to the shop. The problem is, I don't see a button that automatically ends the round, and falling straight down is taking forever.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The strategy by Muskar works fine, all you need is some stroke of luck. If you managed to get to the moon on day 1, then you're certain to get the hard badge.
