I really dislike this game, the mechanics are poor, too many times you have no enemies on screen, so a combo ends and as pointed out the game instantly ends if you run out of fuel. I am only laying again as needed for a Kongpanion.

Plenty of ships in the sky--unless you want to get your combo up.
If your fuel is low, all the ships in the world...
You'd think the enemy army would send a lot of ships right away to weaken the tank.

I just spent several hours to earn myself 1 medium badge, 2 hard badges and 1 impossible badge, labelled as 1 easy and three medium badges. And now I never have to see this horrible, horrible game again. YES!!!!! Before I leave this nightmare for good one last addition to the hints others have given here already: If you are heading for the chain champ badge... 1. always try to stay in the middle of the screen to have the best view on planes and projectiles coming in and more important 2. Miners are not your friends. Because even when you hit them and one pixel of your tank comes somewhere near the ground, your combo in interrupted. Good luck everyone! I'm SO glad, I can leave this game behind now...

For those having trouble with massive lagspikes, play this in IE. I'm guessing the issue has to do with the game's age.

22, 23, 24...and there's no enemies in sight. RNGSUS TAKE THE WHEEL! By the way, if you get a game over or restart, just refresh the page. The object and listener disposal in this game is abysmal.

Even on the lowest available settings, the game hangs every time I press any of the arrow keys, making midair steering impossible -- by the time the game registers the keystrokes, I'm back on the ground. The only way to progress at all is to put on a Quick Play round, right-click to keep the Flash Player from lagging, and let the game play itself until it needs me to decide which upgrades to pick.
Update? I think you guys needed to rethink the whole affair -- maybe starting with a button to mute that godawful techno music?

What exactly does "BOOM" do? I'm too dumb to figure it out.
Although I'm smart enough to unplug my speakers. +1 on the mute button request. Although it's unlikely the devs will change an 8 year old flash game.

I don't know this for certain, but I have the feeling that the phrase "Chain Chump" has already been taken as a Mario Party minigame name. That's kind of asking for a lawsuit from Nintendo.

Man I always die on levels 13-15 no matter what loadout I use. But other than that this a great game, very addictive!

An instruction that you need to touch the ground every so often would be nice. Not discovering the hard way a couple upgrades from maxing out

Even the easy badge is nearly unobtainable, when your computer is too slow to let the tank respond to all of your commands in time. Pity.

one of the verry rare easy badges i cant manage to get (had less stress to get an impossilble) and do not even know why :D and then it is badge o the day... -.-

About time for a new version. One with a little more control, that doesn't kill you in mid-air because you haven't successfully hit the ground to level up....
