A little trick once you get to the strength x2 nodes:
1 cell equals 2 so if you have 30 in strength and you move them you get 60 somewhere else and can move them back for having 60 in strength again so if you quickly move them back and forth you basically double them each time and can just swarm the enemy with infinite double strength virus.

While I won with a Str/Def/Rep build, I ACTUALLY won by, in practice, having a greater Speed. By which I mean, I won more because I captured nodes faster than the enemy, rather than because my nodes were stronger. The AI's easy enough that a quick player can outpace them at the start, when there's a limited number of nodes to control, so that by the time the AI regains the advantage (since they can control all nodes at once) you have enough of an advantage to win. Point being; If you DO go for a Speed and/or Agility build, it's not necessarily terrible. But I think you really should go for at least one out of Str/Def - either flee attacked nodes in search for easier targets, or turtle down until you've the numbers to win.

Great game but the AI could use some work: it's way too slow to occupy empty cells. Difficulty settings would be good too :) Even if it's just ou start with less cells or they start with more.

Mikmick, it would be if this hadn't come first. So, it's more accurate to say "Jelly Go ripped off Phage Wars 2." Also, NortyFiner, just because you're a terrible gamer doesn't mean this is a terrible game. I'm assuming if it's giving you this much trouble you probably don't know how to activate your gene sequencing upgrades. Give that another look over, if there's nothing in the left page where your genetic alterations should be you've done something wrong.

it's only today after having finished this game for the third time that i discovered we can modify the stats of our virus (i though it was automatic...)... Silly of me.

Pretty fun, but becomes too chaotic. There's really not much strategy to this, since everything happens so fast. You win most levels really easy by just trying to conquer as many free cells as possible, then you just target/overrun the enemy cells.

Similar to real diseases, speed and reproduction are what matter here. If you take all the bases before they can and bombard them with hundreds of units very quickly, in doesn't really matter what their defense is. Once I got to the Photophilic stage, I was winning each battle in less than 30 seconds by focusing on those two, as well as strength.

Last semester I took the subject of Animal's Genetic, and I lOVED this so so much, also I ended the game pretty quickly I guess it was in 20-25 mins so I'm feeling kinda proud on my attributes's choices, thanks a lot 999999/999999 and it's not enough

General rule of thumb, only equip sequences with net gains, such as a +2 -1. Getting a little more complicated when you realize you can't technically go bellow 0 in any category, so choosing a strategic weak quality such as agility or even defense can lead to even greater overall gains.
Some strategies I found most effective:
-Spreading to every cell possible as fast as my mouse could click.
-Retaking lost cells IMMEDIATELY to maintain reproductive superiority while simultaneously killing the opponents.
-Using 2x reproduction cells as "ammo producers" for the 2x strength cells, effectively loading your units into the strength cell before launching it at targets for maximum damage.
-Targeting 2x reproduction cells and maintaining your monopoly on them as key strategic points places you in an automatic position of superiority while crippling all other players.
Im sure most people will have already known or learned these things while playing, but I hope this helps anyone who doesn't.

at the beginning of every battle, zerg every single open node no matter how far away it is and every battle will be easy. For skills, just focus on using genes that net you a positive number of bonuses.
