An e-mail with a nomination came. That's when I realized, I've just created a monster... Game was fun to play, but a little bit too easy.

I beat most levels in under 30 seconds, many in under 20. I just looked at whether a gene gave an overall boot to stats or not. For example, I used a +2 over a +4-3. Then your stats will be really high. Start levels by taking one or two free spaces, then start attacking immediately and the enemies will die while trying to get a foothold.

Really fun! Took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it, but when I did, boy did I have fun! Would definitely love to see a part 3!

might be my colour-blindness causing issues but there seems to be only a slight difference between tested and untested...

aside from playing the game to complete it, its also a bit fun to take control of half or more cells in a level and then watch the AI struggle to take them back.

It would be nice to have a white border around the text and the numbers during battles, because lots of times the numbers blend into the background and I can't read them.

Okay, so that starts out interesting, but gets flat because there's no risk of losing at all, really. Letting it gain too many rows makes it next to invincible, so I feel like it would be better if it stayed at, at least something less than six rows of upgrades.

I really liked it, but after about the 2nd set of experiments it gets too easy. There was 1 level that I lost after that, it ceased to be a challenge.

Cool in concept. In practicality; it's a bit a.k.a. WAY too easy to the point of almost no challenge. I guess it's older than and inspired the similar games that have harder strategy to them though.

Full Speed and Defence---Right after it starts you take over every spot. Then with the defence they can't take it back. eZ win

Searching an optimal sequence for a given set of characteristics (say, Strength and Speed) is a constrained linear bin packing problem. So it's solvable, but it's NP-hard. Which makes optimizing your sequence either a mater of feeling or of luck. Clever, or annoying ? Can't say.
Nonetheless, I too figured out that REP/STR/DEF is unbeatable. Having two cells means creating units at twice the REP rate, so the more cells you conquer, the (way, way) more REP comes in handy, without you having to do anything.
To conquer cells, you need STR or SPE (or AGI). It just so happens that given the gene pool it's easier to combine STR with the rest. Then you want to keep your cells to REP, so you get DEF.
Excellent game, but a lot easier than the first if I remember correctly. Phage Wars 3 will need to bring on challenge !

in 3, there should be a multicellular mode, where you can take on and infect organisms, and actually create and modify symptoms. kinda like taking elements from pandemic. thumbs up if u agree!
