whata hell? the game is bugged. i enter to one area and i just walk straight then the sound of standing on button sounded and black screen game.

sigh went through the whole game and missed out on one piece of stinking leather for lack of magic ring and killable pigs >.<

The store has an issue with the scroll control. If I see the stuff so I don't need the scrolling control, theoretically, then it disappears, but doesn't set me at the top of the list, so I can't see all my stuff or scroll up to it. I assume restarting the game lets me to the top.

Lovely game with a great introduction (love the narration). The two endings also give "replayability value". The inventory could use some management work. Theres a few bugs such as map errors, player getting stuck "underground" and jumps multiple times till he gets to level terrian, and of course, the ending freezes out. Was going to rate this a solid 4, but with a bug like that; and STILL UNFIXED, i'll have to go for a low 2 here. Disappointing.

yeah the ending flight glitchs. you move south to go out of the room and the screen goes black save for the count down timer. It needs to be fixed. Also I noticed some arrow launchers shoot arrows sideways.

I'd normally be quite happy with this game a lot but a glitch that prevents everyone from seeing the true ending of the game? That's awful! Please fix it!!!

In one of the levels, it's possible to enter a locked room by getting up on the wall and jumping over the door. This traps you in the room, preventing further progress. Given that posts here complain that the ending is bugged, I don't think I'll bother waiting 40 mins for the castle to reset. If the bugs get fixed, and the game badged, I might come back later.

bugged ending ruined the fun I was having with this game, still a giving a 5/5 even though I didn't care much for the way the character fought, I would have preferred an attack that could attack in all 4 directions instead of partially attack in certain directions or at least that is how it felt when attacking enemies.

Firstly...I love the plot. This "spiritual sequel" to Help the Hero is a fantastic continuation. (Really, we all knew the Count was going to end up like that.) The Zelda-inspired gameplay is fun, and the randomized, changing labyrinth is a neat twist.
However, WHY, oh WHY didn't you work out all the bugs before you release it?!?! Some of these things (like not having enough keys) I can understand are a consequence of the randomization, but the ending bug is a terrible buzzkill. It's a huge letdown to do everything right, start on my mad dash for the exit with the princess in tow...and then get the "bad" ending anyway! Please, at least patch the ending, because I really enjoy this game, and it makes me sad to see it so screwed up!

i went over a locked wall and i got locked inside without the key because you can go over them and i ended up locked in the room :(

Nice little game but the auto-jump was a bit sketchy and I kept getting lag on a regular. I'm running an iMac that regularly handles bucketloads of visual effects and runs Portal 2 on full spec so doubt it's the computer. Shame.

There's an annoying lag whenever you break a tree or rock... It may just be me, but I'm running a computer that plays skyrim very well, yet I get a lag on this game, so I doubt it's mu computer.

really buggy. the first time I fell into the hole to the boss I got a white screen that would not change but could still get to the pause menu. I rest the castle and it did not happen again. The map would not get rid of previous castle versions which made it hard to read. By the end of the second castle dive I had to cursed ring one of which I sold and got the most expensive items.
3.5/5 from me tell the bugs are fixed.

@scott by the time you have enough $ and resources to get the cursed ring and final shield/sword, you are on the last room of the game and dont need any of them to one hit kill the monsters in the castle b/c there are none left. too much hassle and too many glitches for a game w/ no badges

@doctronzero: Um...yeah the better weapons and sheilds to something. The POINT of the sheild is more health, for those who have a hard time beating the boss with just 4(+the four hearts in the bushes) hit points. The swords are for defeating the enemies in the castle. The basic sword takes two hits to kill a...spider bee crab thing, and three to kill a stone gollumn. The "Final Sword" and an ancient ring combined makes every thing a one hit. Since theres no other use for the money, you may as well buy these things for the sake of covinience.
