This game is pretty broken. Eventually it completely forgets about the whole "sacrifice" mechanic, so you only end up using it once or twice, the corpses you step on fly out from underneath you, so the game really doesn't have much about it that's unique. Average idea, and average execution of said idea. 2/5 i reckon

The final level brought this from 4 stars to 2 for me. Hard but not in a "your skill can help you" kind of way...Just feels completely random.

awful game. The controls are a nightmare, the restart button cause the game window lose focus... and it's not cute at all just horrible... bad move to make this part of a challenge

I like the game in the sense that it was a small, easy platformer. But watching all of those cute little animals kill themselves was just horrible.

I cannot complete the game. I ran out of lives, and it says I can replay earlier ones to get lives back but even when I finish with less lives lost than originally recorded I don't gain any back. If it wasn't for this I'd have the quest complete.

This game is unique in being the first game I have ever played to both ignore me pressing buttons and ignore me lifting up on them.
It's a shame because if it wasn't for that then this would be a great game. I would love to try for the 25 deaths achievement - I've already got the rest - but having attempted some of the tricks for zero deaths, the actions required are far too precise for these controls.

A poor choice for a contest game.
It is so badly coded, responds so frustratingly wrong, and why on Earth would you make the terrain slippery?!?
As someone else has already said -- the game is infuriating, and infuriating games are about as far away from fun as you can get!
I sit 14/15 on the Kongpanions quest due to this failure of a game, and after reading the comments, I see I am not alone. I nominate this game for expunging from Kongregate.

i replayed the levels i lost animals on, but it didn't give me the animals back. now i'm out of animals and i can't continue....how am i supposed to finish the game?

i didn't mind losing 5-7 of them for the first 16 levels but then i started realizing i didn't have enough animals to complete a level. Slowloy i grew upon me that they wernt respawning each level and i lost all hapiness playing this game...

Played it long ago and disliked. Playing it right now and loving it as hell.
I would say, this game is as humanistic as it could ever be. You can save 25! animals from 30. If this is not the nicest ending, then I don't get what would be.

Well, humans ARE cutting down trees and destroying animals homes, and animals ARE dyeing because of that, so I'm guessing this is a game message to stop that, since its bad.
