0 Instructions, trial and error, and I don't even know which room I am supposed to clear or go to in order to advance. A game that had potential but just is frustrating to play in the end.

Figures that *this* would have to be the Sunday BOTD and I haven't played any others this past week, so no Kongpanion for me this week. :( If only it were a good game they'd made BOTD. You know, one with instructions, maybe a tutorial, and at bare minimum a sound option. Rookie mistake there.

Lots of comments about it, and I have to agree. The replacement of actual puzzling with the 'trial and error' memorization type game has changed this game from a fun brain bending puzzle to just another worthless piece of trash. I finished the main game, decided to try the 'classic player-made levels' and on level 2, you get presented with two keys right near the end. One traps you and forces a reset, the other lets you continue.
That's not a puzzle, and it's not fun.

This game adds a great new element to puzzle solving games. This is the first that I have played in the series and I will likely try the earlier games in the series as well.

theres a shit bug in this shit game. when you jump and press shift while in the air you disappear and the game crashes.

Can't beat level 12 in chapter 2. I enter the room and one of my guys is constantly dying offscreen. All I see is the blood. I've exited the room, but that doesn't do anything. Guess that badge is just out of reach.

Muting is annoyingly only temporary. Every time you finish a chapter it comes blaring back on and you have to wait till the next chapter to pause and mute again.

Kufc this game, I hate platform games in the keyboard. The constant crashes, badly designed puzzles, no mute, no save, it pissed me off. And I don't get pissed off easily. (And yeah, most of these problems can be worked around somehow, but they shouldn't. It's just bad design."

Did you attempt to make that jump? I'm sorry, but you missed BY A PIXEL and fell onto some spikes. Please try again - from the beginning of the level and thank you for playing.

Okay, so I muted the music and then a short time later, like a minute, the music resumes. Really?? It's kind of bothersome.

Great. I'm currently stuck in Chapter 3 because Adobe Flash becomes unresponsive and aborts the script in the second room. Really ridiculous.

Hmm. as much as I'd like to play the game, the directional keys 'stick' when I play this game (continually running left or right), making it rather frustrating to even pass simple jumps like room 5 on level 1. Guess I'm skipping this one too!
On a side note: I don't get the stuck arrows playing Shift 4 on ArmorGames - only Kongregate. :(

thank you hidden chrome developer tool that allows me to mute individual tabs. You save my life on games like this with no mute button

for those wondering the controls:
Shift - makes character flip through the ground, changing gravity as well.
Arrow keys - (obviously) make you move around. (up doesn't jump)
Space bar - for some reason, instead of the UP arrow key (the one I constantly keep hitting by mistake), space bar makes your character jump.
Up arrow - Enter doors because why not.
Ctrl - once you get to room 7, you can press control to swap between characters.

The game concept is great but the lack of instructions really makes it hard to play if you haven't played the other 3 before this one.

Skipping this badge. Controls aren't bad but the game is too trial and error-ish. I don't want to spend an entire afternoon on this one - no fun factor.

With no explanation of what each key does, it's pretty unfair to have a key that locks away as soon as you pick it up. It's like an "instant lose" item. I know complaining about this old game isn't going to change it, but future developers need to know that a cheap trick like that doesn't make a player happy.
