WTF is with the nail? It's incredibly unresponsive on the first level with the balloons I got decimated because everything else got through while I was frantically trying to pop these balloons with a nail that takes five tries to do damage once.

Pirate: Uhhh, captain I was just wondering... Where exactly were all of those turrets and bombs coming from? And what happened to all of the gold we got from those monsters?
Captain: I be buyin' all our surplies from de Walmart on the other side of this 'ere island.
Pirate:... You mean we could have been sleeping in a safe enclosed shelter every night instead
of taking turns keeping watch for monsters on a broken ship?
And this is where we enter the scene at the end of the game.

upgraded artillery and fire, finished on day 11 with $7300 to spare and used 1 repair. I'm sure upgrading other weapons (nail) would have made it easier.

well is it just me or is it even if you upgrade your ships health then you are still stuck at 100 or am i missing something... bet it's that

I got the Hard badge, bought the Nail, Fire, and Water upgrades with artillery and made it on the 11th day with $1177 to spare

You shouldn't be buying the golden nail. You can cut off one day if you don't buy it. Just make very small counterclockwise circles (so on the return you are following the motion of the nail) to pop the balloons. If you have a lot (say, because you had to cool down a lot of the fire guys) then start at the height of the highest balloon (no matter where it is) and go at a 15 degree angle back towards the ship. Sweep 3 more times like this to take'em all out at once.
As for the game it has potential but feels somewhat lazily coded, esp when it comes to grabbing your inventory. Work on it more, make it more Tower-Defensey (different levels with different wave styles, maybe some combo weapons that affect more types of enemies for less damage) and you'll be on your way to a nice success.

Dull as dirt cash in obviously intended as a quicky cash in (or warm up to) the iphone market. Yay, pirates, instant +30% sales. Buggy too.

Fun game, but seems kind of glitchy. After one level, all my turrets dissappeared, and a few levels later a lost when I golem got past my turrets - I was at 74 health. Pretty annoying! Also, hotkeys would be good.

Why is everyone complaining about the controls.....they're flippin simple. If you're retardedly trying to click on the nail and then clicking on a blob.....that's not how you do it. Click and DRAG the nail to the blob, then swipe down on top of the blob. For the rest of the weapons, you're on your own. It's a fun game when you know how to play.

after unlocking the magnet just hover over the little rolley things without anything selected and it will apear as your cursor

The controls are a bit weird, but I really liked it after a while. I think the control system is very creative! 4* from me! (I think 4.5* would be more accurate).

you know it's crap about how you can't kill the dino's without the bombs or snipers, but it is bull s%$t that you spend what basically is a repair, FOR A FREAKING SNIPER THAT SHOOTS 1 BULLET A MINUTE!!!!!! C'mon i mean 2-3 snipers to kill one dinosaur and the other 5 get away! that's 2 repairs! cheap as hell

so i figured it out... but these controls are in no way laptop touch pad bullcrap friendly. i mean i dont like the pad thing to begin with, and i wish my mom hadnt thrown away a perfectly good mouse that i could be using, but it's still a major inconvenience cause the game would be fun otherwise :/ 2/5
