For those curious about how to play Sonny post-Flash with the SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0000/9053/live/SunnyPatch3Kong.swf?kongregate_game_version=1208216809 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here. As a tip for this game, pick your class carefully that leans into your gameplay style well and don't be afraid to grind at the training area (starting the second zone and onwards) to build up Sonny as the main 'missions' beyond the first zone scale upwards in difficulty quickly and will most likely require some grinding without some serious use of tactics and skills!

5/5 for storyline.
5/5 for music.
5/5 for gameplay.
0/5 for Veradux epic tactics. "You're almost dead. I'll attack the enemy. The enemy is almost dead. I'll restore my focus. You're out of focus. I'll heal myself."

Sonny goes from being a undead ship worker, to being a samurai, to being a shaman, to being a high-tech warrior. He has certainly lived a full life. :/

@crazy20164: Yes, he is starting to work on Sonny 3. The reason it has taken a while is because there have been a few games he'd made in between like Flight and Sinjid. Not to mention he had recently recovered from cancer through genotherapy but that's another story.

One of the few games I remember loving as a kid and after playing it again now, almost a decade later, still loving it. 5/5.

I find it funny that the commandos at the beginning kill a level 99 character instantly yet do 7 damage to a level 4 one.

If your character needs more focus, piercing, and etc. Take an item from your inventory and go to options with the item still with you, after that put the item in the red area at the options menu. Your character basically "eats" the item. + to keep this comment alive! P.S. This also works with your teammates.

veradux: alright, important boss fight, i see you're down to 5 focus, the boss will use dark omen next turn, and you have break. Obviously i better heal myself for the 27 damage done to me out of my thousands of health

cheapest way to get strength for destroyer.... buy fire axes from first zone and use item absorption glitch, 600 strength for $4,000

Tips for All 4 last bosses: #1 - Use the Block ability to shield you from the effect of the death curse, #2 - Use Subversion just before enemy heals (at 10,000 or more damage) to make the enemy kill itself, #3 - Stun the boss when he charges up for 1-hit kill, #4 Use Disruption to prevent boss from having full Focus bar and combine maxed out Block with stun to keep him from critting you with "regular damage" attacks

How to defeat doctor Herrogod: Take down his health a bit BUT DONT LET HIM HEAL! Then use Subversion and let him heal. He kills himself. + so people can see! :D

Four tips from yours truly on the fourth badge: paladin armor for Veradux and your Assasin.(farm the paladin in zone three for two sets of armor) LEARN: BREAK, subversion, regen lvl 4-5, cripple lvl 3, wound lvl 3, lvl 1 disruption so you can:
Break the second boss every time he prepares his power attack. Use subservion on the third boss on the turn you will get him below 990000 health and it will kill him in a great whoosh of inverted healthiness. and finally you need all that regen for the last guy. keep him constantly crippled and whenever he has 100 focus use disrupt on him so he can't kill you in one hit. keep him wounded and sundered. every second attack should be cripple UNLESS he refills his focus! then disrupt. if you are lucky he can go down as soon as you reach lvl 21, or 22 like me! :) having a high speed is more important than strength because your job is not to kill him it is to keep him from killing you.

for ppl that tried playing sonny/sonny2,i just checked it on armorgames and found this:
Sonny is currently not available on Armor Games.
We are using Ruffle to emulate Flash content, but it doesn't currently work for all games.
Over time, we expect more and more Flash games to be playable again.
Thank you so much for all of your years of support and enjoyment!
i belive same stuff happened here.I rly wanted to experience sonny again ;/

This game is awesome, but Veradux is a complete goober. He's the embodiment of that guy who always knows exactly the wrong thing to say at the wrong time and is totally oblivious to the consequences. I'd be better off allied with a potato.

I died when fighting vs a Shaman of Death and his Totem, Veradux actually started attacking all the time without waiting for the enemies' turn and won by himself. He's got the hacks.

This is by far the best game ever created. Even in 2012 people are still playing it everyday. It's been 4 years since the release. I've beaten it over and over again, and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Hat's off to Krin, the creator of Sonny.

One of the best RPG flash games out there. Only thing major I can think of to improve is the AI's IQ, which is about that of a turd lol.

Veradux is so retarded. If we could control him, the game would be 100x times easier. Literally all he has to do is heal every turn and give me focus occasionally.

*In battle, 10 health*
Veradux ~ 'I see, you must be running out of focus.' Me ~ 'no Veradux it's called dying'
Veradux ~ 'Yeah, that's what i said, running out of focus'
*dies*
