I'll bet this gets really fun after you get the "exit upgrades" button but as it never appeared, I can only assume that my time is better spent elsewhere.

@aerian, "totally worth it" medal is where you clear your data and start the game again. which is 'totally worth it'.

Where's the option to upgrade away the laggy and awkward editor this game has, and make it as smooth, crisp, and clean as the first game was?

This one is vastly inferior to the first one. Sure there are more upgrades, and a laser weapon that is overpowered and fun to use. But the whole grid ship editor makes you feel like you're building an armada instead of one ship. And the interface is terrible. If there were a few ship editor hotkeys (like upgrade) it would be a huge improvement. And I think the fact that the game forces items to snap to the grid slows it down immensely. To completely wipe your build and create a new one takes 10 minutes. The first had high replay value because it took maybe one minute to completely reset and have a new interesting lineup ready to go. Sad sequel. 1/5

And can I repay it when i get that much? (im at 700k)
