@Ocsaleb If this was WW2 then I would have agreed that the Germans were the bad guys of the war, but in WW1 there was really no true "Bad Guy" in it, just a bunch of powerful states grinding thousands and thousands of men and lives against eachother. Heck Germany didn't cause this war nor were they the first nation to declare war. In a matter of fact Germany and the Kaiser Pre-WW1 was extremely against a European War and tried his best (Although he's an absolute crappy ruler) to diplomatically solve and fix the tensions between Serbia and Austria-Hungary. But then again I might be taking this too seriously and you just meant bad guys as the opponents in the game

This game wasn't difficult at all. Don't see why people had difficulty, even with the lag and overpowered opponents. Hint: Destroying a tank is far better than deploying one.
Assault teams and support fire can handle tanks with ease and it is by far more efficient to deploy machine gunners en masse than snipers.

"Sir, I understand that the enemy can instantly launch pinpoint mortar attacks, but ours take time and they're unreliable. Grenades? Yeah, they're great for clearing trenches. I just don't like to use them."

Between the constant Map-shift lag, buttons not responding, the total BS final mission (spamming tanks and mortars. War may not be fair, BUT THIS IS A GAME) and the actual shortness of the game with the lack of control, this game NEVER should have received BotD, just like the other Warfare game shouldn't have.

This game is so confusing. We killed more enemies, deployed fewer squads, lost fewer squads, took more trenches (and held them the entire game), and used the same amount of support. Why did my troops surrender?

The mechanics of this game need some serious work: My army surrendered in the last mission after I destroyed like five enemy tanks while losing only one and was just about to take the last trench with no single enemy soldier to be seen and myself having approximately 40 of them out.
I don't understand this.

i've been attacking like normal for the whole game with no problem, then, somehow, on like the second to last push, an entire squad blows up, because somebody managed to step on a landline right outside OUR trench, A landmine that somehow avoided blowing up after like 25 squads had already ran over it

Hmm... I sent the last two wounded riflemen from a unit out to capture the enemy ground. One gets blown up, but the other just runs across and captures the enemy ground and they give up even as their last tank rolls out... 'Cause frikk logic.

We should be able to make them fall back to a previous trench. Otherwise I have infantry getting demolished by tanks while I have some perfectly healthy assault squads in the trench behind them.

I see comments about how there troops went out to get gunned down , gassed and blown up but thats was exaxtly what happend in ww1 if the generals gave the order you would climb out and attack and most deserters where shot. You cant realy imagine the terror of running to your death seeing your friends and family die aswell as people you may not of known well and not being able to stop it as retreating you get shot for cowardice and discraces and disowned from your family.
ps i know this may be a bit grim but its the truth.

Generals log: the Great war is intense. It is 1917 and I'm pretty sure we should have won the war by now...
Note to self: Never hire soldiers whose experience includes being in a camouflage uniform commercial. Also stop buying ammunition from that new "Rubber bullets" store.
