"We've almost taken the field men." "We outnumber them 15 against 2." "We are literally within an inch of victory." . . . . . . "LETS SURRENDER!!!"
Sorry, but the dev needs to rethink his moral meter; it makes no sense.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@TIV Games Morale is dependent on success of one army against the other, if you are dominating the battlefield the enemy will surrender.

sir, There's poison gas in the trench ahead, should we wait till it clears." 'NO rookie i'll tell you how we roll here, we run in there and choke to death, understood?"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Never in my life have I ever seen men just be like "Its too crowded in here, lets run straight into mortars, gas, machine guns, snipers, and tanks. Sure we will be killed on the spot, and sure we will give up because our morale will go into a freefall, but hey, at least were not crowded in this trench!"

@NightmareMissy Because you can only play as the British on here, you have to play on armorgames to play as the Germans, so all the kongregate badges are just against them.

"Hint: War is not fair" Useful loading screen hint of all time. Surprising how many people miss that particular point.

@AERUNNALLADO "If this was WW2 then I would have agreed that the Germans were the bad guys of the war, but in WW1 there was really no true "Bad Guy" in it, just a bunch of powerful states grinding thousands and thousands of men and lives against eachother. Heck Germany didn't cause this war nor were they the first nation to declare war. In a matter of fact Germany and the Kaiser Pre-WW1 was extremely against a European War and tried his best (Although he's an absolute crappy ruler) to diplomatically solve and fix the tensions between Serbia and Austria-Hungary. But then again I might be taking this too seriously and you just meant bad guys as the opponents in the game "
Well said.

This game wasn't difficult at all. Don't see why people had difficulty, even with the lag and overpowered opponents. Hint: Destroying a tank is far better than deploying one.
Assault teams and support fire can handle tanks with ease and it is by far more efficient to deploy machine gunners en masse than snipers.

"Sir, I understand that the enemy can instantly launch pinpoint mortar attacks, but ours take time and they're unreliable. Grenades? Yeah, they're great for clearing trenches. I just don't like to use them."

Well...an enemy just ran across the whole screen and I lost because I couldn't kill him...errr...still a good game though

Between the constant Map-shift lag, buttons not responding, the total BS final mission (spamming tanks and mortars. War may not be fair, BUT THIS IS A GAME) and the actual shortness of the game with the lack of control, this game NEVER should have received BotD, just like the other Warfare game shouldn't have.

"Good vs. Entrenched"
Yeah, that's a large pile of garbage.
Three squads at once lost to FOUR MEN IN A TRENCH. Didn't kill a single one.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is so confusing. We killed more enemies, deployed fewer squads, lost fewer squads, took more trenches (and held them the entire game), and used the same amount of support. Why did my troops surrender?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The mechanics of this game need some serious work: My army surrendered in the last mission after I destroyed like five enemy tanks while losing only one and was just about to take the last trench with no single enemy soldier to be seen and myself having approximately 40 of them out.
I don't understand this.

"Alright men double time, boys lets give these pansy Germans Hell! Lets Charge to the next trench"
" But Sarge! The trench in front of us is filled with German Machine Gunners. We will be Gunned down on the spot if the twenty landmines in-front of us don't get us first. Shouldn't we stay in the trench and come up with a plan to try to flank em?"
"No Private, that the dumbest idea I heard outta your stupid mouth! were replaceable soldiers. If we die stupidly then we die Stupidly. Use the training you got in boot camp" "What Training? All we did was run in laps and watch Griff sit on his lazy ass doing nothing and Private Simmons kissing your A**. H*** I don't even think Corporal Snowball over there knows how to fire a Gun"
"Did I ask for your sass Numbnuts? Private Jack Meoff l I best be seeing your ass first leading the charge or you'll be charged for insubordination! Let me see those feet walking princess !!"

that moment when you have a whole group of infantry in a trench and 2 of the enemy just walk on past you and win the game -.-

when one of your soldiers steps on a mine right next the big tank, killing your whole charge and your tank in one step.
