ok, in the "heavy guns" level my guys literally let ONE German walk past all my defenses (and an occupied trench for some reason) then i lost, has this happened to anyone else?

Is it just my game or everybody else's also... My men in airforce are like "lets hit every piece of land except that enemy tank.. and that other one too... We don't want no enemy tank get hurt."

Could you guys make a Warfare _____. (Post WWII)? Like maybe the Korean War, Vietnam, Iraq? Or maybe a Warfare 1944 : Russian Edition? It would be really fun to play this format of game, but with modern weapons, equipment, locations, and tactics. Just tossing out some ideas. Hope you consider. :3

I snicker at the trench evac comments. I liked this game, except when the guys would go kamikaze from the trenches. I would like it better if you could not build anymore foot soldiers if the first entrenchment was full and the dudes stayed put until you advanced them by choice. Then, when there was room, after you moved some forward or lost them in combat you could build more troops. Fun game aside from that, good job!

fought a medium agressive british on a field with 4 wires and 5 trenches, and many mines, no artillery support, all units. Sent one tank, and kept 2 infantry, 1 sturmtruppen, 2 officers, 2 lewis gunners, and 2 snipers at maximum distance. Tank was the only one to ever be fired at, engaged, or lose health. We one in less than five minutes, with 10 squads deployed by each player. That's thinking smart.

@Lappor , Hitler was in the war. One of the reasons he started the Nazis was because he was angered and disappointed that Germany surrendered

@MYGODs, 1917 was World War I, Hitler wasn't around then. Well, he was, but not in the war. Warfare 1944 is World War II.

Something weird happened during the brittish campaign, in one mission an assault team of mine decided to run over the enemy in their trenches and just capture their ground :P

My advice just rush and fully upgrade the first row of both trees and gas on 2nd also time it takes takes to train troops decrease on 2nd row. I had no problem

Best way to win any battle in this game: Hang back in the trench, kill anyone that comes on over, and wait for their morale to reach Breaking Point. You get a badge, too.

Morale thing's a bit off - I lose a few men, our guys are "we surrender, mew mew mew" - I take the enemy's trench and kill each reinforcing wave, they say "it's only a flesh wound!"

For anyone having trouble on mission nine, deploy tanks only (three is the amount with which I won) and use support. Save gas for after you destroy the first German tank - your tank(s) will be fighting entrenched infantry.

I like this one better than 'Warfare: 1944' because you don't have to actually spend money and this one (In my opinion) has better graphics. That is why this one is my favourite.

To get a lot of enemy soldiers killed easily go to custom battle then pick short map, disable all unit types except MG, choose 2 trenches, 4 wire and no mines, set difficulty to easy, AI to aggressive and you play as Germany. Get 3 MG units and when a British attack fails take their trench and stay there. Fill your own trench with MG units in case you need to replace your men who are in the British trench.

Here is a pretty good tip for fighting against tanks; Wait until enemy tank is in position, use tank buster bombs then click on the menu/settings button. The bombs will continue to fall while enemy tank stands still. Hope this helps

I use this game every year when I teach my lesson on WW I trench warfare to my students. Sure it may not be that historically accurate but it does get the point across that there was a lot of casualties.
