I've completed both Warfare 1944 and Warfare 1917 and despite their short campaigns it feels as if they can never get old, I must admit the assault teams against tanks are pretty over powered and at times seem more efficient than the bazooka teams however that doesn't stop it from being great at all. Really enjoyed these games.

I've noticed it's really easy to destroy enemy tanks by having a few assault squads and spamming grenades at them. Also maintains effectiveness against infantry so in many ways superior to the bazooka team.

Shoot an enemy, does nothing, group fires blindly like drowned rats and dies instantly.... ENEMY fires it's like trying to shoot at a wall of riotshields fused with plasma cannons where you only have a pistol and a cotton shirt!
Seriously do we have soldiers or f***ing kids!?

I feel like Zap Branigan. I achieved victory by sending wave after wave of my men at the kill bots till they reached their kill limit. Then I claimed victory

ok what the heck, i see enemy tank coming so i hire bazookas, but they dont fire until they are in range of tank, so they die immediately.... im playing on the easiest setting and they are worthless

It would be better if you either had total control over your troops or none. Nothing more frustrating than troops advancing without orders and dying

Wow, so the second level is already ridiculously hard to do anything in. They have like 8 soldiers behind a few bags, and all of a sudden none of my soldier can't get near it without being instantly killed.

I started campiagn on hardened, finished all missions just to find out that after 3rd mission it somehow switched to recruit ^^

For the level where you encounter the tanks for the first time: Quickly place an officer and a bazooka team in the middle line, call air support when the tank comes, call another bazooka squad and then use riflemen.
The level can be done in LESS THAN 30 SECONDS.

ok I entrench my soldiers and kill masses of the enemy and my moral goes down. they do the same thing and I just assault and my moral goes down. W.T.F!!!!

Not a fan of this game, it really just does not seem to flow well compared to others of its type. However I will admit it does require a lot of tactics!

My way of solving the hoards of enemies behind that stupid cover is to use an officer to call on air support and aim at the darned spot. Use the cheapest units to cover the officer. Repeat.

I don't get the mortar achievement, I'm spamming mortar units and still don't have it, I'm sure about 10 or so mortar units got killed at least and I just won a battle with 4 mortar units left standing, but counter is still at 0/3 mortar units?

terrible, you stop getting xp so you cant grind to proceed. AI sucks and the enemy constantly get multiple snipers in 1 trench so youll only die

Published Aug. 27, 2009... the computer I used when I played this the first time it had BOTD is long gone....along with the saved game. So now I have to play this crap again.
Its not any better now than it was 6 years ago.

Okay... I typically only comment on games I like, or offer constructive criticism, but I'm making an exception here. This is -hands down- the worst game I have ever played. The anti-tank units lose to tanks. How much freaking sense does that make? My people think that well-defended positions are clearly worse than lying on the ground, and retreat is worse than a bullet to the face. I'm told war is hell. At least this game keeps that aspect realistic, by removing all possible fun I could've had.
