As a fan of 1917, I have greatly enjoyed this game. I was expecting a clone of 1917, with a simple re-skin of the units. However, there have been many improvements to the gameplay mechanics( infantry being able to use grenades, flanking), that to me it feels like a whole new game. My only complaint is perhaps having to manually advance the units. If there were perhaps a hotkey, or a way to automatically advance the units, that'd be great.

How to win: immediately rush the Go!Go!Go! perk, then rush three units down the middle, won every fight in under two minutes so far

A new game suggestion would be like an American Civil War, since it's line to line battle and such. We can even place cannons! :D

Would be great if your troops could hurl molotovs at tanks or infantry type at least save your soldiers from tanks...

this game is terrible, how can u win when they have mortars and kill all of troops before they can get in firing range? this makes no game seance or tactical seance

Just wondering, What do the difficulties mean? I know Regular is Medium but what is the difference between Hardened and Recruit?

2* because you generate resources too slow and the fact that the enemy generates resources faster than you do puts you in a disadvantage.

Altought this game is quite old, I enjoy playing it a lot... but what I find hard is the fact that on the D-Day Beach, there is no cover such as dunes which had and was originaly there In real life and in games. Also when playing second mission for your first time... If you are a strategist than it will not work since unlike your infintary. The Germans are able to dd more than one unit behind cover... And they pill up quickly so you should just push quickly. 7/10

Gotta be blunt on this one: after earning the hard badge, I believe the game is too hard at the beginning yet too easy at the end. Tank is OP, and multiple cover management is really hard.

The cover system is really very poorly done. You state we can't hide more than one unit behind cover, but the enemy has no problem doing five or six at a time; and it really doesn't make sense to hand us so many units that only really work behind cover; but then not be able to use any of them due to them not being capable of holding cover well enough.
Additionally in Hardened Morale plummets far too quickly. I was at 50% morale 20 seconds into the fight, because apparently my troops gave up as soon as the enemy starting firing mortars. Nobody has even died yet, and we'd killed 15 enemy troops, yet -my- morale is the one that is plummeting?

I think if they make a sequal to this I would love to see it based in WWII. Maybe with some of the fall back and hold position commands like mentioned above. Also It would be cool to not just pick between two sides but pick your theatre of war and your side. For example have the eastern and pacific fronts to choose between too and have each nationality/army have different upgrades available to them and so on.

winning on hardened mode becomes difficult when the germans can stack an unlimited number of soldiers behind one barricade...

Soldier : Commander, shal we attack the enemy that's right next to us?
Commander : No, they don't see us. Instead, we should attack the tank right in front of us!"
Soldier : But the bazooka team is already engaging them.
Commander : Shut up private!
