Beautiful! I came back for a second go after initially finding this a little unoriginal in the opening stages, but was pleasantly surprised by the end. Great development, terrific music, really enjoyable game. Thanks!

I seriously thought that boss thing at the end was his daugther. Man... I should stop playing Mortal Kombat and do some zen instead xD

that first boss pissed me off so much i just remember thinking if only there was a way i could hit the spikes to drop on him. then about two seconds later i realized i was oh wow

Decent game. I felt that jumping was kind of wonky at times. I wish I could award half stars. This game would get a 3.5. But for now it stands at a 3 for me.

Excellent game! Really enjoyed it. I like the different boss encounters and creativeness in defeating them. Music is top notch as well. Only gripe was that it was too short! Looking forward to the sequel! ;)

Lol, that music. It's really epic. This game is really awesome, but music is like 50% of it's awesomeness. Great job there.

I was totally preparing myself that the monstrosity at the end was your daughter which was somehow mutated , thus resulting in a tragic ending...Oh well

Very well-designed. I'd love to see a sequel that follows the Metroidvania formula even a little more, i.e. more weapons, bigger world, secret areas maybe? I dunno. You did a great job, and I hope to see more from you.

When fighting the first boss I would keep hitting him and his health only dropped every 3-5 times. Bug or some trick to the fight I'm not getting?

When I saw the first girl who lost her father, I thought she was the protagonist's daughter but somehow neither could recognise the other. It sent chills down my spine, and the story just got a lot more interesting. Later I was both relieved and disappointed to find out that the author was just using the same sprite for multiple characters.
It's a nice game overall. 4/5

Okay, I've played this over and over again, and I finally think I knw why. I got the same feeling of excitement and adventure when I played 'Cave Story'. So I don't know if its just me or soes enyone else get that feeling from playing this?

i was terrified that when i was killing the last boss it might have been a mutated version of Lily who had been experimented on... but thankfully I was spared that painful ending! :p

I thought everyone wore large metal shoulder pads in post apocalyptic times, even so, this game really has a lot of atmosphere about it.

1/5: This seems like it could be a great game ... and it is clear that the creator put a lot of effort into making a good story. But there are a huge number of bugs, memory leaks, etc ... which make it virtually unplayable.

Really fun game. You manage to pull off Metroidvania-style gameplay without it feeling like it, and the gameplay is incredibly solid, even though aiming takes a little getting used to. Perhaps in future games, shore up the storyline a little as well, maybe giving backstory to connect us to the character. Also, I love your hidden room.

nicely done, i enjoyed it. looking forward to future installments. Hanzzolo, you need to hit it when its under a pointy rock on the ceilingm, it will stab itself.

I use a laptop and my arrow keys are crappy half-sized keys. I'd appreciate it if, especially in keyboard-only games, there would be some kind of alternative layout.

I thought the game was very well-crafted, but the story was rather lacking. I would like to see a sequel that is a little more story driven.

How to kill the first boss was a little too well hidden. I didn't figure out how he was taking damage till after he'd already died. For the longest time, I thought he was taking damage randomly or it was a glitch.

please get rid of the lagging background. in the cave at the start the game runs smooth but outside with this parallax it lags horribly
