I killed the final boss without a single damage. Checked the "?" button. it said - watch out. I thought there will be a shitton of enemies or another boss. But then this guy came... And i got killed. LoL'd so bad after this!

Great game, really enjoyed it. Could see some of the technical limitations--during the first phase of the final boss fight, I spawned out of the fight area... just had to walk out and reload. Also, jumping out of water. In my case, I found that if you came out of the water and were holding the up key you would be unable to jump afterwards, which was extremely frustrating until I figured it out. Thanks for the fun game!

Note to self, and any others: Zombies love Roco Cola. Or at least the house/thing with the roco cola sign on it. Stay away from there.

Whitemend: Nah, not hate science (though many probably would by the time things got THIS bad...) More like "Hate the guys who tried to kill me so that they could kidnap and experiment on my daughter."

Fun fact: there's a building near the top of the game map that you can find the devs and the music composer in. They can't kill you, don't worry!

One issue: in the final building, it is possible to open the door that needs to be opened, die after going through it without having saved at a save point after it, and then revive so as to find the door unopenable next time. Then the game can't be completed.

Loved it, haven't seen one of these in a long time, I thought things like endeavor or kalevale were over with on this site. Loved this game so much 5/5, favorite and added to the playlist with my other special games

I thought everyone wore large metal shoulder pads in post apocalyptic times, even so, this game really has a lot of atmosphere about it.

Still, after quite a long time by now, one of the best free flash games ever to be made. I takes me back to my childhood and all the nice memories, thank you for this game. Make a sequel btw ;) Pretty please!
thanks! evoking childhood nostalgia is a huge compliment. a sequel unfortunately seems improbable since i've taken on a 'real' job, but before that happened we had time to finish another game. like i say it's not a sequel but it's based on the same engine. we're in the polishing stages and are expecting to release very soon!

Interesting story. I have never felt so conflicted as a protagonist. Never before have I felt to be such a well-meaning villain.

ah here we go, these are the sort of games Kongregate was built on, not these crappy pay to win MMOs and "real time" games we've been seeing recently

There's nothing wrong with the jumping, you're just doing it wrong. You can actually do a TRIPLE jump if you do it right--double+wall. you're probably pressing the arrow when you jump, so it does the wall jump. Why not ask yourself what YOU're doing that makes the jump not work instead of assuming it's the game's fault?

I love the chip tunes and the general retro styling of the game. I think the controls are horrible though; can we not have an option to redefine keys please?

Ok, I figured out what was happening. If I klicked out of the page, for whatever reason, the character would clip through the ground and go to a different screen-block-level-thingy. While it happened to be pretty early when it happened to me, I imagine that it could be pretty game breaking later on, so this is something that should be fixed pretty quickly I imagine.

I believe this is one of the better games i have played in a long time. Its quite obvious that the creator put as much time and effort into development as any other mainstream commercial title. The environment wile playing is stellar as well as movement of your character, but what i like the most about this game is that it draws the player into the world quite quickly giving it a more realistic feel to the game as well as the aspect of the game being able to teach a player without annoying popups. Its hard for me to come up with any criticism for this game but if i had to i would have liked to seen a more developed story. other than that 5/5. ps the "?" button was quite usefull.

Best game since ages! Took me back to the times when Faxanudu, Rygar and consorts roamed the NES platform, well done! Cannot wait to get my hands on the Sequel!

Great game, however the jumping mechanic is tough to get used to for some times you will double tap A but you wont double jump, other than that, great game and great story

Simply one of the most amazing games i have played on the net. Everything, from the design to the controls takes me back to the days of NES, thank you very much and keep it up, i strongly hope to see more from you like this in the future, and i'd even be willing to pay money for this game, even it's a bit short though.

I was running this game in the background for the whole time today just to listen to the epic scoundtrack of the title. :)
