Why are you electric-proof and the zombie isn't? If you are electric-proof why do you need to wear gloves to operate the sump pump?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you notice once you turn the power on when you kill the zombie you can't go down there but later in the game it's A ok
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why cannot i not tie the magnet to the blanket rop drop it down with the fish hook on the blanket rope just in case its not mettle into the hole with water in it to get the shiny thing out what the hell

I went through all that trouble to find a key for pen and paper because this guy has down syndrome/ Alzheimers and can't remember 3 numbers.

Today I followed the link of the "Badge of the Day" and my interest was raised at this fun looking game. That quickly went away as I was confused several times with awful controls and bored with an uneventful art style. Through the fact of some confusing physiques (the hammer of course) I promptly stopped playing as i was bored and a bit frustrated. 2/5 for trying and piquing my interest for a second.

Only an idiot would try to kill a zombie with a hammer. You'd probably be bitten if you didn't take it out with one blow.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I didnt know the average zombie surviving joe had the logic of a child who was dropped hundreds of times....now let me try to use my hammer to break that cabinet again oh wait...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lets see...we got a hammer, a curtain and a small clamp...
ima going to say that this game needs dead rising weapon crafting shit RIGHT NOW!

LOL seriously? how do you turn on the lights without the key in ignition? and then you cant turn on the car without the sparkplugs in the safe. So without the sparkplugs to turn on the car, how is the headlights supposed to turn on when you pull the lever? lol fail

@ Tailless Did you put it in the right spot? The fuse has to go in the bottom of the fusebox, where it's labeled "basement".
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
- A person takes the time to write a note to himself explaining what to do "just in case" the basement is filled with water, as well as a note elaborating that he could throw a magnet down a pipe and fill it with water to get a key "but how will it float?!"
- Powering the basement while the zombie is down there will kill it, yet do the same thing when YOU'RE down there and it won't do a thing.
- You are unable to remember three different numbers for 10 seconds unless you find a pen and paper.
- The engine to the van is accessible from the center console from INSIDE the van.
Yep, looks like another illogical trying-too-hard point-and-click adventure.

I followed the Walkthrough but when I put the fuse in the fuse box it doesn't say "a bloodcurdling scream came from the basement" and the brother is still there.

I think there is a need for a sequel. Great game, the windy sound track had my nerves up and I kept expecting a zombie to pop out activly at each corner. As a player we know by the notes left that there are other people out there, and a get away van opens up the options

i cant turn the damn van lights on WTF! all fuses are in and nothing is left for me to do. to me this games was terrible!

phantasy77, this is a zombie game i don't think the first thing the maker of the game is going to think about is how realistic it is.

finally got the badge!!
after beating the game, save, scroll down, read some funny comments and refresh the page...
you should get it

Good thing the engine is right out in the open between the front seats. Changing the spark plugs could have really been a mess otherwise.

Meh. Too many objects hidden in arbitrary places (come on, all that stuff in the van -- really?). Too much trekking backwards and forwards between the two most distant parts of the map. Too many bizarre failures to use things in the obvious way (a hammer that can knock a hole in a wall can't open a wooden drawer or glass-fronted cabinet; said hammer or a curtain rod can't kill the zombie in the basement; I have a drill and an extension cord but I can't drill out the locks on the bedroom door or desk drawer). Too many absurd combinations of objects (you can stop the flow to a gas fire by putting a small clamp on the copper pipe that supplies it with gas? You can see that a van has no spark plugs while you're sitting inside it?). Puzzles are supposed to be solved by logic but this is completely illogical. That, and, when the mouse pointer is anything but the hand because it's impossible to work out which part of the object is the cursor hot-spot. The game just isn't fun. At all.

I didn't really like this game, there was to much going back and forth, from the van to the basement then back to the van.

3/5
Many things can be fixed. If you give us tools, powerful tools, then negate the use of them in very common and logical ways then don't give the tools or make them with faults. Hammer broke after nailing the window, useless now.
Why can't I use the pole to turn on the basement pipe?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"I need to hide the safe combination somewhere. Hmm... I know! I'll write it on the side of a cabinet facing the window, so that anybody coming from outside can see it!"

Decent game, but halfway through, I was no longer wanting to see more of the story, but just wanted to get it done so I could get my points. Really tired of running from one end of the house to the other, then back again.
