For everyone who says "Why can't I just use the hammer on the zombie?", Contamination and getting blood on you, not to mention getting that close to them, is quite dangerous. For the dest, I'm not so sure...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To all complaining about the hammer being unable to bash things, its obvious. The drawer and everything else in the game is amde of nintendium, the material which all nintendo products are made of to stop them from breaking, therefore being indestructiable themselves.

Just so everyone knows, when you're in the van, you HAVE to turn on the van's headlights before you can use the binoculars
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
both his brother and the main character must be idiots. why do everything the hard way? You just get mad at the game when you try something that always would work and soon realize you have to do it in the developers retarded way.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's too dangerous to go into the basement with a zombie down there? You have a hammer, a pot, some sheets, and an extension cord. Get creative
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Screw the damn hammer! It was a cool game. Better than any of the zombie survival games any of these commenters have made.

60 23 34 I'll never remember that combination even though it only 6 digits.
I guess I'll have to go on a tedious quest to find a piece of paper and pen.
Despite the fact I could easily drill it into one of those notes but that would be to easy.

I made up so many ways to kill that zombie with the items I had before I actually figured it out. It's a fun game though and it kept me busy for a while.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My! Everyone has a point with the hammer. Sort of like you can't tie the magnet to the extension cord or painstakingly pan the water out of the basement, or pry the fuses out with the back of the- uh nevermind.

It´s nice how the guy who lived here before wrote down all this memos and hints for you, although he had been beaten to a pulp, was nearly starving and about to go crazy because he can´t reach the key to his van anymore... Must have been a great guy!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
BANDAGES!!! Now if I get bitten and zombi-fied AT LEAST I'll Be the coolest Zombie Ever With My Egypt Mummy Disguise!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Um... so... how short is this guy? He cant grab the string meant to allow a normal person to gain entry to the attic but he needs something to grab it with? also has he never heard of jumping?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lol "There are definetly signs of strugle here..." wait...he's a cop?! just grab the pistols and kill the guy on the basement :P

Geeze, who knew a hammer could be so useless? This could have been a good PaC game, but it suffers from the same problems as a lot of others do; retarded logic. I mean..I guess it makes sense, but who is going to think to throw an electric cord down the chimney? Everytime I thought I was getting somewhere, I had to do some other stupid thing that I wasen't even remotley thinking about. And the attic..it took me ages to even see it..it blends in so well and you don't know there even is an attic..hmm...let's attach a fishing hook to a curtain rod..what? And who the hell puts band aids and spark plugs in a safe? So they'd be safe from zombies? Oh, right, if a zombie found some spark plugs, he could cause the end of the world. That's what this whole game is. Nonsense and hard to guess logic.

i'm driving the car along and i think "wait how is the battery working i had it on for like an hour" and with that the car stops in the middle of a horde. "AW COME ON!"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The reason the bandage and such would be in the safe is because he wouldn't want the thugs as mentioned, stealing any of that stuff.

@acciaiomorti - some vans/minibusses have engine accessible from inside. the location is about right for, say, UAZ-452
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A sump pump! I fixed it! wait, I cant touch it with the electricity on... I know, I can turn the electricity off, flip the switch, then go turn it back on. BRILLIANT!
Game creator: ehhh, nope.

Yeah, the 99% useless hammer was frustrating, but moreso, being followed by a phantom note writer must be troublesome too. I bet at some point he as sitting on the toilet, reaching to grab some tp, only to find a note which read: "Sorry, bro. I hid the tp in a locked safe so no one could find it but you. First you'll need to kill your other brother, smash the toilet, fish down the drain, flood the basement, cut off all your hair, enter a van - leave the van, find the code somehow and open the safe.

its agood escape game t realy its got very dumb tings in it..who puts a cupboard with thecombination on it as a barricade but makes the side with theombination face OUTSIDE...

- A person takes the time to write a note to himself explaining what to do "just in case" the basement is filled with water, as well as a note elaborating that he could throw a magnet down a pipe and fill it with water to get a key "but how will it float?!"
- Powering the basement while the zombie is down there will kill it, yet do the same thing when YOU'RE down there and it won't do a thing.
- You are unable to remember three different numbers for 10 seconds unless you find a pen and paper.
- The engine to the van is accessible from the center console from INSIDE the van.
Yep, looks like another illogical trying-too-hard point-and-click adventure.

oh no it's to dangerous to kill one zombie in a dimly lit room but GOD FORBID!!! I FORGET TO JUMP THROUGH A WINDOW!!! OVER A HOARD OF ZOMBIES!! to the combination to safe...WITH A F_CKING KEYHOLE!!!!!!! RAAAAARGH!!!!!
