Screw the damn hammer! It was a cool game. Better than any of the zombie survival games any of these commenters have made.

My! Everyone has a point with the hammer. Sort of like you can't tie the magnet to the extension cord or painstakingly pan the water out of the basement, or pry the fuses out with the back of the- uh nevermind.

They shud make it that you can break everything with a hammer!
Why did they even put a hammer then -.-
LETS JUST BLOCK THE WINDOW AND DOOR WITH HAMMER AND NAILS!
His borther is down there? How will i kill him?
a) with a hammer
b) electricity
c) jump on his back and hump him

This is one of those games I play through, only to get the badge.. It seemed pretty good at first, but after 2 minutes, it became more and more boring.

In a sad and morbid way, I find that electrocuting your zombie brother was probably the best humane option. I also enjoyed the hinting at the zombie bro having an internal struggle (going to kill you v. standing still). Hammers, in a pinch, can be a great weapon against zombies, especially if there is nothing left as an option. In this case the threat was contained outside and using it for any other means is pointless.

screw the hammer thing; are you going around writing notes to yourself or are you locked in someone else's house? and how are you writing notes at all if you locked your pen and paper in a drawer? i dont think raiders would want that. also, how the hell did raiders get in? and you didnt notice the safe combo attached to the cabinet? derp

Are the bandages and money only there for your personal enjoyment? They don't do anything, yet you can still pick them up...

3 things:
1. As said many times before me, almost every solution in the game is possible with the hammer.
2. You seriously don't have the memory capacity to remember a 6 digit code?
3. The box made of weak wood in the basement (that you conveniently need a drill to open, rather than the hammer) contains the two things important to your escape! HUZZAH!

A straw cabinet... *looks at hammer* hmm... *looks at cabinet* *looks back at hammer* I think I'll need to get the water out of this basement floor replace the fuse so i can use the outlet and find a power drill to open this cabinet. Thank goodness I have this hammer to keep me company.

1) Why would you climb out a window to get to the van...pretty sure zombies would get into the van. 2) Your zombie bro wouldn't stand in the middle of the basement for long lengths of time. 3) Why would you write your safe combo and put it in a cabinet in the kitchen? 4) I'm sure they make attic pull downs within jumping reach. 5) The money could be useful if you ran into a hooker. 6) Hammer + pot = great zombie fighting weapons. 7) So the bathroom pipe is somewhat plugged to not flush magnet and bobby, but the pump works fine? 8) I was expecting a zombie to appear behind you at any moment. 9) Great game, 5/5

you need a key to open this drawer...open next drawer and find a key, use the key on lock drawer, sorry wrong key..."SON OF A BIT......"

I'm with this guy. I wouldn't risk my ass fighting off zombies with a claw hammer when a board and some nails will do the job. Hurray for caution!

i got 24:35 without a walkthrough, great game, would like to have seen something like looking thru the binoculars at a neighbors house or something, i enjoy easter eggs

Pretty mediocre point and click game. Nice art, but there are a lot of silly methods to solve simple problems, and the story doesn't make much sense. Protip: Don't put a hammer in one of these games unless you let the player break every_thing with it.

Guys! If you're not getting the badge, save the game at the end, refresh the page, and put the key back in the ignition. It worked for me, as hbrika also pointed out.

wtf i cant get badge i beat it 2 times and put so much thinking into it im so mad now i better get my badge or im leaving kongregate

yes... hammer is being useless in this game besides pounding nails into stuff so you can keep the zombies out is kinda silly and senless, but you really can't argue with it. Perhaps the person you are playing as doesn't want to risk destroying something valuable that might be in or behind a door, getting to close to a zombie (not all characters in survivor games have to be martial arts masters with the hitting power of a body builder), and/or didn't think of it.
