Would be cool if the helix symbol in the map would spin faster when you're close to a fragment and slower when you're further away.

Boss Hints(3 and 4): Space Cube: Avoid the walls, stay center floor/ceiling, opposite the boss. It's more a battle of attrition than anything.
Moon Snail Pt. 1: Do not move, shoot. Your rainbow shots will counter his dark ones. When he fires his rainbow spheres, shield. Can be beat uninjured.
Moon Snail Pt.2: Shell (bouncing): Avoid corners at ALL costs. Applies during every part of the fight, but especially here, he WILL hit you repeatedly. (Also, never be directly above him or below him or on the walls, if you can)
Shell (shooting): His shot waves move at "less than a snail's pace". Wait to see which way they go, then just stay slightly behind the wave in front of you.
Snail: Don't be under him, he'll crush you. Ignore first shot. If you are on the ceiling or floor, it will miss. If timed right, you can jump over it, then gravity switch if needed. If he's on the ceiling be on the floor, vice-versa.
Shell (sleeping): Shield, blocks the Zs.
Hope this helps!

Great game, I love it! Was at disappointed when fighting Moon Snail, who seemed easier than the Cube, but he redeemed himself in part 2.

well, I'll rate 2 stars: the game takes too long, it's tiring and annoying to control the snail. Also, finishing the game gives me 15 point badge. If you know the game very well you'll take 45 minutes to finish it. If you're new, more than 1 hour. Also, the boss is incredibly overpowered. Really not worth it. That's my opinion.

good game but I felt the gravity shell was annoying and difficult to use I'm stuck at a boss that I need to use the gravity shell quickly to defeat it. every time I try to use the gravity shell I pretty much mash the jump and arrow key and it's annoying

One of the best platformers on the site. The game feels very polished in every aspect but I especially like how you can customize the controls since my keyboard doesn't register when I hold up+left+z. Not to mention it's a feature not seen very often in a Flash game. Tons of secrets, responsive controls, no lag, a big world and a map/minimap, retro graphics and sound, what more could you ask for? The only thing I can think of is another game, be it a sequel or not.

This game is real great! Reminiscent of the 8 bit legends like metroid and blaster master, and even a bit of zelda. Very fun simple game that stays true to the classic 8 bit side scrollers.

http://imgur.com/ywFnwJ3 Boss rush mode finished (barely survived)! This is what I did: 1st boss (rainbow), hold C in initial position and shoot right and diagonal. 2nd boss (rainbow), always stay between both eyes. 3rd boss (boomerang), stay near center to avoid small cubes out of sight and switch between top and bottom when it approaches. 4th boss (peas), stay near center and hold C to shoot at boss. Switch from top to bottom every time donuts launch. 5th boss (rainbow), when bouncing just move so it hits near you, then it can't angle directly towards you. When sleeping, try gravity jumping from one vertical side to another just before the Z's launch. Later it often tried to cheat when shooting waves, starting at the opposite side of its gravity. I just started on the opposite side of it and switched again after the first wave. When it cycles peas, just walk along the edge. Good luck!

There is one thing that didn't really inspire me. Shell shield (or whatever it's name is) is supposed to protect you from any damage when you are in your shell. I tried it on the last boss. Didn't work.
