this may sound harsh but one of the worst games i have played, tips for next time: please make it so enemies dont knock you off of climbing...this game just becomes tedious, 15 minutes cant find the first boss for easy badge (which if i wasnt dedicated to getting every easy and medium badge that comes out, I'd be done playing already) also, better controls like use the space bar rather than j and k, maybe a way to see the save points you have been to so you dont spend 5 minutes finding out where you just were because an enemy knocked you off a wall down a hole onto a save point...also when you enter a new room you instantly land on an enemy and there are way too many of them. now im done

I don't know if anyone is curious or not about this, but here is how you get to the shrine of isis. Go to the main area of snail town and go on the wall on the left. From there, go down until you get into another room with a heart piece thing. Then go to the bottom right corner in that room and shoot rainbow waves downward. Then just follow the path until you get to a pink door. Go through that door. You should now be in a hallway with two pink doors on either side. go to the ceiling of it and shoot up. If you have gravity snail you will fly right up into the shrine of isis. + if this helped

This game + an oldschool PC gamepad + Joy2Key + Chrome + SwiftOut = one absolutely fantastic afternoon, as if I'd gone back in time 20 years. I wholeheartedly applaud you for making this awesome little love letter to those of us who grew up in the NES days, though I think it'd be thoroughly enjoyable even to those who didn't.

Very cute, it was lovely to play through. It felt familiar yet entirely new at the same time. I never knew how awesome snails could be.

ah... strafe lets you aim without moving. you can get 100% everything-but its hard...(watch videos on youtube-somebody did 100%run)

Oh, and one more thing. For any of those that are curious about how good this game is, it's this: it is simply the best game ever.

Okay, I just must post this... Stompy is a lot easier than shooting diagonally. Just jump up and shoot your boomerangs left or right. Stompy will die before you could even kill the cannons.

awesome! i love how theres a secret room in a secret room in a secret room in a secret room in a secret room! i know its hard to find all 30 helix things before the final boss, but thats how you get the"good"ending. i love how the 2nd area looks like a snail when you're done(including all the secrets). yes, you can get high jump 1st. its in area 2(i think) but you can get there before the pea shooter-taking secret paths. you can also get boomerang before pea shooter- take the secret super boomerang(not telling you where it is...) you don't need to beat 1st boss to win. wow that's a lot for most comments.

For the cube boss in boss rush mode, use the boomerang. It's much easier that way. All the shots you would miss because you have to move end up coming back to hit the boss.

@chaosguard I totally agree. It's sometimes awful to try and get through places when you try and jump and all of a sudden you're zooming through someplace and then you start all the way back to the save point. I like the concept of having a gravity snail...it's just that it needs done a bit differently...but other than that I love the game and I wouldn't complain about anything else.

Gravity - cool concept, but horrible implementation control wise (for me). Ill often double tap jump simply out of habbit.. next thing I know Im zooming into enemies taking tons of damage -.- Would much rather have a designated button as "gravity mode".

Fantastic game. Really great game idea, simple, yet funny. Love the konami code reference too, that made me laugh. 6/5!

Has Ateras, I also think about Metroid, that's a great game thought. And don't under rate me just for thinking it. It's the true!!! 5/5
