This was a very well made game. Its a great nod to the classics, and the whole concept of wall/ceiling movement is really a lot of fun. Even playing it for some extended time, I didn't need to mute the soundtrack. Great work and Thanks!!!

Even though this game was released over 4 yrs ago, the developer bothered to come back and change the name of an npc snail from "Isis" to "Iris" simply to "avoid negative associations." This probably wasn't even necessary, but if it doesn't show his dedication to the game, then I don't know what does... 5/5 for being an exemplary person as well as a great dev.

Is Snaily's gun attached to his body or is it a part of his shell? (Sorry, couldn't resist. Came for the badge, stayed for the classic Metroid nostalgia)

This game used to have a snail named Isis, after the Egyptian goddess of the sun. I've renamed the snail to Iris, after the Greek goddess of rainbows, to avoid negative associations.
Oops, Egyptian goddess, but not of the sun. Well, I was going to expand the Egyptian theme in the sequel for the whole sun/moon snail thing, but I guess I'll do something else . . .

Anyone wants Snailiad 2? Rate up this and maybe the dev can see it and makes any decision....or is there even some highlights in one of the hundreds of caves of this game?
Anyway, I love Snails, I love secrets, I love Metrodvanias. So that's up to 5/5
The snail is named after the Egyptian god Isis. When I made this game, I didn't know there was going to be a group named ISIS years later. Sorry, I can't see the future . . .  Anyway, I renamed the snail to Iris, after the Greek goddess of rainbows.

The interesting thing about the easy badge: you can complete the game without getting that weapon, and still finish it faster.

The site wouldn't register that it gave me my bonus points because I played this game a few days ago and it won't refresh. I even tried starting a new file, losing all the progress I'd made. Then I went to the Kongpanion page and it said I already had the bonus points so I just wasted my file.
I'm not going through all that again. This sucks.

"HI, SNAILY! LET ME GIVE YOU A HINT: SOMETIMES, YOU'LL MISS A SECRET IF YOU CLING TO A WALL!" Well, I don't know how much useful is or is not that hint, but in the pink part of the map I have found one ... wal which I cannot go through while... clying or whateveriscalled, nad able to go through with the snailequivalenttofeet in/on the floor. It was useful for a... shorter way. Not much that that, for now. Well, I can't remember if there was something else in that secret rom/way, anyways :/

First 5 min....Oh no another kiddies game.
Then I started to play and play and play...
This is metroid poured in a snails sauce!

who else thought they could kill monsters by jumping on them ? :) :)
Good game, very simple, but very attractive. 5/5

Controls take some getting used to but it's worth it.
The changing dialogue enriches the game world.
Probably the best snail game I've ever played.

I think having too many invisible walls, non-scrolling rooms and 1-block wide passages (amongst other things) is a bit too cruel for secret passages. Even with the map (which doesn't help navigation any), it gets VERY frustrating. Otherwise a top-notch game.

Poor choice in monster placement, level designs aren't supposed to immediately attempt to piss off the player once they walk into a room but present a challenge throughout the map. Nice "troll" I guess? Graphics were adorable and the music was also enjoyable, controls were simple. The snail theme gave the game a unique enticement of map interaction by allowing the player to move up walls, so nice creativity. Level design is the one thing to work on with this game though. 4/5

The most hilarious thing in the game is the turtle saying: after the end of this game, I'm going to eat pizza (teenage mutant ninja turtles reference!) out of a 10/10 scale, I'm going 100/10
