Thenextneo42, perhaps actually look at the customizable key controls first? for WASD users, jump/strafe/fire keys are HJK. And worth also mentioning that Instructions mention only the arrow keys/ZX for control, although both styles are enabled.

Both mute and the ability to change keys (including making j no longer fire) are in options. You have to scroll down to reach the other control sets, though, which may not be obvious.

I wish we could use the mouse to aim. I finished the game but it was really tough because we are almost forced to move towards the enemy or stand still when we attack.

Boss Rush Tips:
Shellbreaker: Just stay bottom left, you'll be safe
Feet: Stay between both eyes always, spam Up Right and Up Left
Cube: Always kill block first. Watch out for reverse patterns
Moonsnail 1: Hold fire down and you can't be hit - just dodge the orbs.
Moonsnail 2: Be on the reverse side when he does the crescent attack. Try and stay half way up the screen when he does the spinning attack so you can go either up or down easily.

Don't let the "super" beginning of the boss rush fool you - It's easier to do the entire boss rush than it is to kill the final boss of the normal game, as the one you fight in the boss rush is significantly nerfed. If you can complete the game on normal, you can clear the boss rush in a few tries.

The frustrating controls and lack of fast travel kind of ruin this game for me. Sure, there are shortcuts, but they're not very useful- especially since the map makes them look even more confusing. In the later areas I found myself completely ignoring the enemies and just rushing through rooms with my gravity powers to get them over with quickly. The controls are pretty fiddly and when you're in an action packed boss fight, that becomes annoying very quickly.

There's no need to have to watch the credits twice. I watched it once when I beat the moon snail. And then again after I found that last pesky helix fragment. I watched the credits twice in a 15 minute time period. smh
