A very interesting game that has many cool features. Easy skill resets, a hard difficulty, and lots of unique characters just for starters. However it isn't the most exciting of gameplays but overall it was a fun game that I enjoyed. 3/5

OK so spamming save/load refills your health by 20%~ apparently. I made sure Last Flake had 100% health and then she proceeded to solo the last boss on her own. So basically for the last boss, just make sure you have Last Flake at 100% before engaging. I went with maxxed health and 3 ranks in self-heal (9% per round). Keep defence up and try to get 100% in Rage.

Well I screwed up my hard run. I'm stuck at the beginning of the boss with Last Flake at less than 30% health. Usually she can take care of any mobs on her own but the bosses special %HP attack means she gets annihilated in two turns. My last save was at 40% and restarting the chapter still brings me back to the start of the boss fight.
I guess my only way to win is to max Last Flakes Rage and hope to get 7 100%s in a row.

Remember that you can reset your skill points. Giving more health for the last boss is very helpful. For example: make Headhunter's ulti level 4, the rest put into health - he'll kick fear's ass!

Guide for endboss on hard... he's easy doable with the lifeleech lady alone, just max out here mega life leech attack and also her passiv reg. the last point you spend for 20 life more(120) then just attack the beast with normal attacks and from time to time with a defensive attack... when your life goes under 60-70 do the life leech attack and if you hit good you should have full life again... the fight takes a while like this (40 turns in my fight) but you have no risk of dying. vote up if it helped you! (sry for bad english, it's not my birth language)

I'm wrong. It works but it only seems to raise if the full next number is reached. So, 120 hp and reg of 4% = 4.8 hp -> 4 hp.

The regenaration attribute of Last Flake doesn't seem to work right. I have 120 hp and it says to regenerate 4% .. it only regenerates 4 hp each turn for me.

I played through modes easy and medium and beat them easily. Hard was a little more difficult, but the boss in chapter 10 is pretty much impossible. I enjoyed the game, but I'm very disappointed that I won't be able to get the hard badge. 3/5

Maybe you could add something like in Arkandian Crusade. maybe add a cultist coming to your guys when they're all together and giving them a choice wether to join the Ancient Fear, or destroy it?

Just finished it on hard, a lesson in learning game mechanics to learn how to exploit to the enth degree. Sequel please!

Is this my computer or is there a big latency between the time when you actually click and the time when the shot is made?? Sad, otherwise great game...

How to be basically invincibile against Ancient Fear in hard mode. Give Last Flake 5 points in regeneration and 3 in Health, You'll regen 27 HP per turn, and the only time I ever took more than that in one turn was when I used rage SOMETIMES I'd take more, use bite or just wait and you'll be back to 180 in no time. Takes a really long time, but you can't lose the battle.

It was a fun game. Too bad that I didn't realize that *SPOILER ALERT* the librarian's Cleanse ability, at lvl 5, is excellent at weakening the Ancient Fear boss on hard mode. Otherwise, I would have completed the game last night.

OK, so the best strategy in this game is simple. You take Last Flake, pump her regeneration and health as much as possible, and then no enemy (including the last boss) can get her even close to death. You can do the same thing with the head hunter, but Last Flake is a little better. I did well over 2000 damage with her alone in the final battle.

A tip for anyone having trouble with the ancient fear on hard mode. Simply upgrade Jake's viper shot (i think thats the name) and his concentration. Use tiger shot and maybe a normal attack, heal, tiger shot, then shield, tiger shot, heal, and keep repeating this pattern over and over. If you are lucky, you can get him down to about 400 health with Jake alone. After than you can use Last Flake and buff out her two specials to the max, use the draining one, then smash him for a lot of damage with the multi attack one. After that, you will probably need quite a bit of luck, but the best thing to do would be to just max out the other characters multi attacks and health, and pray that you beat him.

*kills the butcher on hard mode* whew that was tough, my character almost died *gets back up* ...are you f***ing serious?

Aren't the later levels in a game supposed to be the harder ones? By around chapter 7, Last Flake was an unstoppable machine.

Beat it on Hard. Really a fantastic game. Without Last Flake, there'd be no way to beat it though, at least on Hard. She is by far the best character. Huge amounts of damage and massive healing every turn. The student kinda sucks, Librarian is pretty good and Marco is not too bad. I love how each character has different strengths and weaknesses. It's such a unique and challenging game. But the accuracy system makes it (for the most part) challenging in a fair way. It depends on how well you can do, unlike most other RG's which is largely based on luck. The ending better deliver with the 2nd game.
