I had similar problems, not getting credit for perfect hits for the achievement for the quest. I had 3 or 4 perfect hits with Normal Attack that weren't credited. I read through a bunch of the posts and found at least one person who had gotten it with a different attack. I switched to easy in hopes it would increase the sweet spot (unsure if it did) and then managed to get a perfect shot with Headshot and was indeed credited with the achievement. My interpretation is that Normal Shot isn't being counted as an 'ability' and you'll need to score the perfect hit with a different attack.

At first I was following the story, but then it became too tedious and I just gave up, went on a clicking/killing spree. Nice game though, a lot of effort put into it. And I love the reset attribute thing, helps to survive those hard bosses. 4/5

Its just about luck and nothing else, not even close to RPG or adventure. You just press one button untill you either win or lose.
On the other hand beautifull graphics and sounds. Lots of hard work killed by stupid gameplay model.

I loved the style of this game. The side scrolling reflex game really made this game stand out from the crowd. The game was consistant and fun to play all the way though.
However, I felt like the game wasn't that hard. Even on the hardest setting, there was only one point I had to redo a battle (first play-through). Enemies could be more varied in buffs and debuffs. Lastly some tweaks to the skills of the characters would make this a lot more fun (so some skills aren't useless).
However, these little things did not seriously impede the ability the game has to entertain the player. 4/5 Kongregate stars. I look forward to a sequel.

Definetely worthy of being a hard badge.
Tip: when fighting the final boss use the librarian first and max out his first ability then invest the rest in hp. use his first spell then the last spell after it to negate almost all damage. Heal once its most effective, if you can use your first ability 3 times you should be able to kill the final boss with the rest of your players. You can also make the first character max out his second and 4th skills to block almost all hits.

A problem: the damage animation is much slower than the rest of the game, so after a while, during a long combat, it stays too far behind and lags. It's really annoying, so please try to fix it if you can.

Characters shoud restore full health between chapters on hard. Seriously... how I am supposed to defeat 450hp monster with chars on 46hp and 56hp?

This game.
Is very slow.
With plot points.
Appearing not dissimilar to this comment.

very stupid i have to say - fact that i need to wait for slider to move close to the end of markup area in order to get high % hit... i thought point of game should be to click when slider is in middle of markup area, but guess not...

ok so i earned the perfect hit badge finally!! I maxed out Angela's diamond shot and then put points in attack it slows the needle down enough that you can time it way easier

Is it my imagination, or is the hit box for the bar NOT the center of the bar? It seems to be a little before every time.

Why don't my people regenerate any health? I'm at the last boss, but everyone has only 15 or 20 life, so they get ohko'd. Is my only chance to restart the whole game??

That boss battle on hard was actually surprisingly easy, used last flake with 5 bite, 5 regen and 1 health to get the boss down to 50 hp, at which point i thought it suitable for the detective to land the finishing blows.

awesome game, so atmospheric and incredibly fun and addicting, not to mention the timing gauge actually did spice up battles more than I thought it would. My only real problem would be the almost complete lack of music, there's ambient noises but not real music and it makes battles feel a little empty. Still, didn't stop me from having a good time, so what do I know, 4.5/5
