A few things I think would really improve the game. #1 Be able to use your skills a LOT earlier on in the fights. It seems like a fight is mostly over before I have enough power to use a skill. #2 more options with gear. All you have right now is no real options, you just upgrade from one rank to the next without any choices to make except which one to upgrade. #3 more options with stats and/or some special perks. Being able to start out a fight with some initial power would be a good one, being able to generate it faster and etc. #4 Having an option over which skills you learn and when would give the player more control over their character and give more choices.
Right now, the game has very little skill involved with it and is mostly a grindfest. Some improvements like I mentioned are needed for any sequel.

@klaasdeboer: nope, health+attack is better. Then get hard skin and you will have a good chance to reach the 2nd boss.

It's funny how I'm getting the "almost died" tip when I'm doing the damn training fights. Lot of grinding involved here.

so I can only carry 9 potions, but the wizard boss can cast heal on himself an infinite number of times, and seems to do so constantly from the start of the fight? That's a bit pathetic, really...

Hardcore is impossible. Health is too strong, so investing only in health (with knight) I can beat first boss easily, but can't reach second boss.
If you don't believe health is strongest: just reset your points and put EVERYTHING in health, easy game now isn't it :)?

BUG REPORT: I'm stuck at level 43, wont go any higher, Zero Xp, and I have 2 yellow bars there indicating my level progress, the lines are in the middle of nowhere and nothing happening...

really enjoy the simplicity of this game...no steep learning curve and you can jump right in and come back to it later...goes to show you that u dont need fancy graphics or a complex system to make a good rpg

and also add weapons and items that you can equip that are dropped by enemies. And add color judging on it's rarity, and rare weapons are dropped by rare enemies. lowest color to highest: white, green, blue, purple, orange, red, gold, and then diamond.

Awoke says: "Hardcore mode is far more impossible than you may think". I say that there is a bunch of us who are far more hardcore than you may think. Challenge accepted! I just slew the Red Dragon, although I think I will restart the game, axeman doesn't seems the best choice on Hardcore.

Maybe add a way to skip that opening monologue? It's annoying for those of us who play Hardcore and have to start over every now and again.

One of the best i've ever played on Kongregate. Could make a wonderful phone app. Please make another. Maybe a bit longer. and more story line but overall, 5/5

As the axeman, the fights are over before you even have the rage to use skills. As such the only skills that I ever get to use are the Vampiric one and stun, and even those are near the end of the fights.
Also, putting potions on a cooldown basically guarantees that if you need one, you will probably die before the cooldown ends... so i dont use potions because its just a waste as i know ill die anyway and just end up having to buy more >.<

favourite game on kongregate so far. it's been said before but if you could maybe add VISUAL upgrades (as in,when you upgrade equipment you can see it in your char) that would be awesome.

i think rogue is better then the axeman ... ok his damage is a bit lower , but whit more speed , u get more chanse on stun etc.... more usefull and more survival i think
and if u want it easy , kill 200 beast for the gold reward before u killl 1st boss , buy maxx armor stones , and upgrade ur armor when u continue whit the game , u find enough red stones later , only for few lst weapon upgrade i buy red stones , and while i farm the 200 beast i lvl up my gold jewelry its the money u need most for ur upgrades , fun game :D 5/5

I loved the game , its balanced and it made me play 2 times , once with axeman and once with rogue and i love how you respond to your fans/followers unlike many developers... Im looking forward to sequel and good luck with making it ^^ Please give + so Awoke can see this? :3

Oh, and how the heck did so many people get attacks that do over 1 billion dmg? if u look at highscores the 100th score is over 1 million. Is they all hacking or something? cuz im a lvl 40 axemen with the highest possible attack for my level and i cant even do a 200k hit with headcracker.

I think its really funny after you beat the game that the amount of runes/potions the
sell max button sells is only actually 1000

I love the game, but mostly about how it's not turned base. The auto attack is good as well, and the programming is brilliant!
