It really sucks when you're just minding your own business in a 1vs1vs1 game and the green guy just decides to agro you continuously while the red guy is just sitting there developing his cells >.<

After all, I finished all levels (but 25th) several times in a 45 minutes or so. But 25th always take numerous retries, just because it is more or less dependent on "luck".
Because of all that NV2 is worse than NV1, which have more good features than bad. Nice design, easy interface, progressively raising difficulty level... NV2 could be good, with some redesign.
Regards.

- all levels are rather the same difficulty level, but 25th. That one is do-able in normal level, but rather impossible in tricky and pro. But not because of fog of war and hidden cell power. But because the bad cells are several times stronger, and for the same empty cell they must put just a few units where the blue cell must put 10x more cells to do the same (just look at the graph how steppy is the blue line and how straight is the yello, red and green line); that is just unfair. So enemies have some artificial super power... And they are super faster. And they produce fat cells at 60 units... So upgrades should be same for both sides if so!

NV2 dislikes:
- 3 difficulty levels are fine, but being forced to play same level 3 times is annoying
- upgrades are fine, but not being able to get them all is annoying
- upgrades are mediocre; I am able to finish all (but 25th) level without any upgrade, actualy 5% of speed increase I can't see the difference. But I can tell that bad cells are 10x time faster than good cells, despite having all upgrades; that's unfair.

Before I make this (negative) review of Nano Wars 2, I done all levels, just to be fair of giving any word about it. It's easy to talk something is bad just because you can't finish some level.
Here is the proof: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.2651034928241.127632.1626789247&type=1&l=29b641042e
I love both Nano wars (=>NV) in some way:
NW1 has excelent design and levels are loading relatively quick. NV2 is less clean and neat, and has that annoying animation and fades, and moving all the time, that some would get a sea-sickness.
NV1 does NOT show which level was completed, so you have troubles to see which is completed and which is not. NV2 solves this on a good way.
Pressing left-click down in NV2 fills 100% quicker than NV1, which is good.
Play graph and play time in NV2 is welcome thing; that was missed in NV1. I still play NV1 rather than NV2, but competing against myself to clear all levels in less time.

how to pass lvl 22? my fat sell need to pass over all map to get left down (red) sells, but it dies before go there. i have max speed up in lab. but can do only 1\2 of way. how ????

The first game was a simple, enjoyable one with a well-executed concept.
This, however, is an overwrought mess. Fat Cells slow the game to a crawl and the computer having upgrades far beyond your own, while you yourself power up at a glacial pace, makes every level a chore to play.
Let this be a lesson to all designers, especially on sequels: More =! Better

I think the tricky difficulty should have had fog of war, and pro the hidden powers. I am sure fog of war would be easier to work with than having no idea what you have.

i found a way to grow immortall :D
caprute all the antibody cells and send one antibody unit to each of them (they will convert all incoming enemy cells into their own) and since they are not effected by fat you are invincible >:D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't understand level 21. How are you supposed to win when the enemy starts with the antibody and fat upgrade? Can you win? Also, I don't understand why everyone's complaining about having to do levels over again. I was able to beat every level (up to 21) on my first try - the game's pretty easy.

1/5 for stupid trash can wasted all my time hrs and hrs wasted on pro lvl almost all done.. then stupid trashcan got me :( _______ <--insert your favorite swear word here.

The 'delete saves' button could use some confirmation, you know. I've started playing on low quality, and when I realized what 'this button' was, it was too late.

this game is beatable, i did all difficulties, all levels. but yeah, it's forcing us playing the easy difficulties, too. i guess, that's a dump idea. but i don't know what the skirmish actually is, but hell, even the supertowerdefenses-page doesn't work ... so fnck it.. still somewhere around 4/5 - i do not understand or at least see any differences in between an upgraded species or not .. :D

Amazing game easy 5/5 the upgrade system is not the best i have seen but upgrades are upgrades. A tip for the last/all levels with more then 1 CPU, they DONT focus on you. They will go for the cells of weakest strength, so if you are sending 100% of units to new cells yes it will seem like you are getting focus as the CPUs will target your cells however if u send 50% at a time and dont let your cells drop below 15-20 units in each they will not "focus" on you and will attack each other. Tis dosent mean you wont get attacked by any but you wont b getting "focused" on by all 3 at the same time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Level 25 is the worst. Because not only does all 3 cpu's focus their attention on you, but if you finish off the previous levels then you can't upgrade anymore. So you are stuck hoping for a chance that the AI's won't focus their attention on you. Makes the game almost impossible to play and highly annoying. 3/5

please fix the cells going entirely white, the 'attacking' cells which bounce off of fat cells because they have 0 worth(literally). please fix the autofocus bug, i lost the same game twice because of that:( usually it's nice to have - but when it doesn't allow you to continue it's bad

I prefered nano 1. There is no timing for specialized cells. It's always better to conquer the whole map without giving any value to those cells until the end where you just sit down and wait for that timer half of the gaming time. Since the AI apparently dont understand that and try to conquer those cells. It's not even a chalenge :( .

i found a glitch on lvl 20 (may be on other levels), i took an antibody cell with my antibody cell just as the enemy cell hit 100, from then on every cell the enemy sent at both my antibody cells powered them up instead of breaking them down.

It's great to see a sequel with new features, but I can think of a couple of reasons why the first is still way better:
1) Enemy units are now invincible when outside of cells? What's up with that? I guess it's an attempt to reduce the effectiveness of the "cloud of 1s everywhere, all the time" strategy, but it still seems weird to change something so basic about the original game.
2) Both games can get laggy as hell (especially when using the strategy mentioned above), but at least in the first game the level ended as soon as the last enemy unit was killed. In this one, you have to wait until most of your units have reached their destination. I just finished level 7, and had to wait 5 minutes between when I beat the level and when it actually ended.

waitwaitwait.... What's wrong with this game's translation function? My mother tongue is dutch, and I don't know why, but for some reason HALF of the text comes up in dutch..... That's right, half is dutch, other half is english. Way to mess up the spirit of the game. When I play a flashgame I want it to be fully english, period.

This is an amazing game, but, not to be rude, you should really get someone to read over the grammar and spelling before you publish it.

Bug: A zero count white blood cell can be sent. Which then just sits at the cell membrane and bounces, forever. Annoying.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree with Ace Blue.
You should be able to beat the hardest difficulty on one level and get all three of the upgrade points.
It's only reasonable.
Without this the game becomes a waste of time because you must beat all three difficulties therefore taking more than twice as long as it should.

When i trigger auto-pause, i can't turn off the menu. When i click the screen the game goes on but i can't do anything.

I'm getting 0 cells that get stuck up in an entering animation. Other than that its a great game that had put together the features of all similar games into one.
