The game's decent enough. I've just seen the same concept done far better. Plus, it's a bit laggy when you've got a lot of units deployed to head to other cells.

the clicking interface is horrid 70% of my clicks don't register, the speed of the opponent versus you at level 12 is insane. I rage quit at L12, such an advantage to the opponent not worth trying for the 15 pt badge.

Gameplay looks like Civilizations Wars. They differ in that Civilizations Wars has a story, theme, map, drawings, etc.

Can you provide more information on what ports your system uses and what protocol? I'e set ports 2000 and 2001 open for inbound TCP protocol, and it soes not seem sufficient. A little more than just "open ports 2000 and 2001" would be nice.

very good game although i think phage wars 2 is better because of the upgrades and the cells that give your guys double speed and reproductive.
3.5/5

I liked the low-saturation colors: it gave it kind of like a Victorian, or 30's-50's playing at Victorian feel.
The gameplay is not too hard, once you get it straight that this is nano WARS, not nano-colonization. Yes, it does feel like cells fighting, or (in a weird way) a metaphor for the Cold War.
It does need a lot more levels and/or some kind of level generator-- I had too much fun to stop!

I made 10 of the 15 levels way, way harder than they needed to be. I started playing this a couple weeks ago, and by today I had forgotten the rules. It's really not a hard..hard badge, but, always be capturing enemy cells. My problem was that I kept going for neutral cells. I had forgotten that capturing enemy cells actually kills them. I also forgot that the number that can be in a cell, is determined by it's size. So, just make sure to capture enemy cells, and large ones. Basically don''t be an idiot like I was for 10 levels lol. Really great game.

That was the easiest hard badge ever. 15 minutes. Very surprised after spending literally weeks the hard badges for Call of the Gods and Gemcraft...

This game could probably use a another feature or two, because right now it's kind of at a base level of functionality for its game type. Decent, anyway, though.

@Leboyo56 - Well, there's also Civilizations Wars, which has little people and buildings but otherwise plays exactly like the cell games except for adding spells.

The trick to beating level 15 is to consolidate your attack on the next entity as one. After you have about 5 or 6 entities, select all your entities and attack the nearest/weakest entity. Then select all your entities again and attach the next nearest/weakest entity. keep repeating.

ummm... did i hit a bug? i get to level 12 and the computer owns near every orb on the screen within 20 seconds and so far i have managed to last about a minute tops... i honestly cannot see how it's possible...

I find it strange that all the popular games of this capture-and-defend-cells RTS genre on Kongregate all have 'Wars' at the end of each of their names, which also always only consist of two words: the Nano, Phage, and Tentacle Wars series. Equally strange is that all have just two entries in their respective series so far, despite releasing at relatively drastically different dates (this here being the first I believe). To top those notes off, at least one game in every strategic collection has above a four rating, and regardless the series, only one of them has badges. I know this is random information but the near-staggering number of coincidences is kind of intriguing. Oh, then there's the fact that the units you control are always referred to as 'cells', though I'm not entirely sure what type of cells capable of extending tube-like tentacles came into existence.

Thumbs up if you cant play multiplayer. Thumbs down if you can. Everytime I try to "connect" to the server it will instantly tell me disconnected and take me back to the screen where I have to push "connect". I'm not sure if its new game bug on it, because obviously it wasnt like this before. So + this if you are having the same problem. Thanks = )
