I liked this game to begin with, it's original and the atmosphere is cool. The trouble is it becomes quite tedious guesswork after a while.
What might make it more fun is to split it into levels, so that you basically have the same game several times from different starting points, but shorter. Another idea might be to have 'dead' items fade out, so that you don't keep trying to mix them with things. Basically something to reduce the possibility tree from blossoming quite so fast.

Does anyone else think a "Doodle God Civilization" game should be made? You start off in the Stone Age and you must make elements to help them evolve and progress to the future.

It would be nice if there was world where you could place this stuff.. cus I wanted to make humans with vodka vs zombies on phoenixes, just for the fun of it.

5/5 Great game, Like how it makes you think. A walkthrough would be a little helpful (Tasslefoot or someone will make one), but other then that awesome!
Who else thinks this should get a badge for getting all 115 different elements? If so click +

Right from the start, you can create "Steam engine" in just 13 moves without a single sentient lifeform.
God's kinda crazy.

I enjoyed this game, but it wore thin as it went on. At first I thought the game was going to let me create a world with a path dictated by the order of invention. It turns out that it was just a (very clever, interesting, and huge) matching game. Also, it rankled me a bit that I had to just explore to find the combinations that the game's creator found interesting, rather than be creative on my own. I fully acknowledge, of course, that creating a game with such vast combinations calls for an incredible amount of thought and work.
I'd love to see this concept merged with world creation where, rather than putting together a puzzle with only one ultimate outcome, a world takes on a unique character based on the player's choices.
This is a great beginning: I'd love to see it grow into a larger game concept.
