I like it but it seems way to simplified for my tastes. There is no actual challenge or anything that feels rewarding. But I still give a 5 for the hope it will be updated!

Still needs a little polish - others have made most of the suggestions already: Place own units, select which unit to move, switch between move/attack etc. But very close to a brilliant game :)

DEV: Would you eliminate all the deliberate slowdown effects? We don't need letter-by-letter text, slow fadeouts, character movement that crawls, and battle results that slowly tick by one line at a time. Nobody gets anything out of these delay effects everywhere.

Wow. It's a fun little strategy game, but there are spelling/grammar errors on almost every screen. If you're trying to make money from this you really should shell out the couple of bucks for a proofreader. Totally agree with JoJoMac there, but seriously, it's so much that asking beta testers to list all the errors and do it for free really isn't fair. Get a professional to edit this for you.
Things like "phisical damage" (phisical -> physical), really every screen of the intro (example: "turned into the dark side" means they become the dark side, you want "turned to the dark side"). People *will* notice when there's such a number of errors.

If you toggle 2x animation speed while a monster is moving, the monster will keep walking in a straight line beyond the screen and the only option left will be to leave the game since the monster's movement becomes infinite.

Healers with area healing can't use their spells on heroes with full health. This is really annoying when there's a character right next to them that needs the heal, but they're out of range.

Well the witch and the Pirate at the bottom are too powerful for the Price to Hire, makes you not want to use other hero's.
too EASY and if you just save your money for high end items, it get WAY TOO EASY.(need to have item lockouts at level Maybe?)
Ability to Pick the same hero more than once is one other way it makes the game too easy,
These are just Pointers, the game looks great, controls are nice,Tactics are great,
with a few tweaks this could easy be one of the top 10 Flash games of the YEAR! GREAT JOB!

Some tips:
- In case of doubt, field an army of Annies and Priests
- If a priest targets an enemy unit, she will deal damage
- High Priest will damage monsters AND heal allies within the area of effect

If you are too much a loser to figure out how to beat the Dragon, here you have two strategies:
1) Equip the Sorcerers Orb, and at least Range 3 units. Snipers (range 5+2) can move 1 square to get into position, fire and retreat. Annies and Priests, with Range 5 (3+2) can sneak behind the dragon and use the trees as cover to hit and run.
2) Equip the Sorcerer Orb, Adventurer Belt and Forest Whisper for a grand total of +1 Move and +4 Range. Snipers now have range 9 and outreach the Dragon. Annies and Battle Priests (Range 7) can move in, fire and retreat out of reach.

Very nice game , wish it was x4 times as long ! , one thoe i lost the final battle against the dragon all my men where dead and it still said i won :D,Legend has it that one of my men spent the night in an disreputable tavern and contracted a nasty disease and when the dragon eat him he also cought it and there for died and thats how i won ? :-)

The only bug of this game is that i cannot cast a spell on an empty square if i have MP left. I can cast a spell on empty square only if MP=0. Fix it please. Mages have AoE skill and sometimes it is needed to cast a spell between enemies without moving from my place.

It has been a while since the last flash strategy game that forced me to notice the terrain in order to defeat a mission. Nice work.

How to win without problems :3 .dont use phisical heros. why? simple magic heros have high range, power and aoes/heals and you ll focus into buy items for mage (death mask, sorcer orb, wizard will). Tips with mage:. if you want dmg focus into fire mage. if you want resist/more range focus into annie the witch. have 1 high/battle priest at lasts levels (except last level. i recomend only 7 battle priests, why? simple high move speed, def, 1 heal restore full hp, and best dmg attack,), if you are facing melees only keep away from their range (4 squares) for phisical range, keep behind trees and when they are at your attack sight move 1 square soo you can see your oponent and atack him. and go to hide again (that also works good for rogues at last map) for wizards you wont have problems think like melees since you ll have more attack range+ move speed with battle priests/annie thx to sorcer orb. i hope this help you :3 i liked it 5/5 hope for more dificult stages+ exp+upgrades

Well i finish the game between 2 hours or so, a tips for players, it may be obvious for most people but... the heros can be hired more than 1 time, so you can use 2 heros with same name. Also when you gonna buy thing, use common sense, if for 30 gold you got a +10 to an status but for 60 gold you got +10 to two status you can skip buying that thing and buying the one that gives you 2 status improve. Well, thanks for the game i have fun, keep doing fun games, for the moment. Farewell =).

Fun little game, but the ending is messed up. I died fighting the dragon the first time and got the "winning" ending, and then beat the dragon and it gave me the "losing" ending.

Too easy.
Just pick up items for m.atk. (and range) and fill up your group with Annie (later on add some battle healers). Annie has AoE, cheap price, almost the same matk with latest units, pure imba.
- Need more different classes (not the same with +atk\matk), more abilities, more different items.
- Flexibility is kind of broken.
- Can't attack empty spots with aoe.
- Found a random bug, that appeared once: fast clicking on screen after the end of my turn accidentely let me skip opponent turn.

Really liking the game man, Just wondering would It take much out of the game if your units ie (Archers) could shoot over other units? if not cool. :) Ill def play this when its out :)

Hi! Here is some suggestions:
1. Show marker to highlight heroes that can move/attack, I forget sometimes to make a move.
2. Background and heroes have the same saturation and it is not easy to detect units on the map. Probably it needs to highlight units somehow or make environment graphics darker or desaturate it abit.
3. When the plot message displayed at the beginning of the fight I cannot move heroes but still can skip turns pressing [space].
4. Game intro is showing every time I loaded the game, probably it needs to be shown only when player staring the campagain.

you should make a multiplayer version of this game where you pick warrior archer mage or priest and level them up. also the enemys have way more health but i still owns them
