The reason this Yankee Doodle sounds "bizarre" is because it's the ORIGINAL Yankee Doodle.

hunting around to find the pieces of the diagrams is...not terribly fun. Working out how the pieces of music fit together is pretty sweet though.

I turned the sound off before starting the game. The sound decided it didn't want to be turned off, and turned itself back up to full, even though the settings still had it down. Changing the settings at this point did not decrease the volume.

This game could certainly use some polishing (less annoying tutorial, don't keep opening the book) and some of the musical arrangements make me cringe (don't add pop/rock percussion to classical pieces! T_T) but overall, I really like the concept! Also, I'm in love with the menu song. *_*

I wish we could save and share our creations; "My Bonny Lies Over the Ocean" has been thoroughly jazzed by yours truly.

So angry right now!!! it keeps crashing and that stupid save "allow and deny" thing keeps popping up and i hit allow but it doesn't save!

Is the distribution of puzzle pieces random? I found all the pieces in each available room, and am now stuck with 11 unfinished songs.

why do i get the feeling that whom ever made this got hit in the head by a hammer at some point in his life... purposely.

LOVE the game. Very unique and a great way to learn and listen to classical music. Maybe a sequel with real music notes or an addition to so people that can't read music can learn?

Yeah! Shmanel gives negative critique. Let's press that Minus because he thinks something is bad instead of whether the critique was good or not!

Its a good concept of a game, but the gameplay itself just sucks. A very annoying tutorial, aimlessly clicking around rooms hoping for a piece (or waiting for sparkles), the game pausing and going to your book every time you do find one, and pretty much the whole music interface. Great idea to combine classical music appreciation and puzzles, but the execution falls a bit flat.

The bits where you click around the map trying to find scraps of paper almost make the dull puzzles feel fun, although they are just a color based puzzle rather than rely on anything musical, if you can even call those horrible arrangements music.

The three-room limit is not a bug. This is a free demo version of a game that was first released as a paid download. Once you've gotten the amulet after ~3 room's worth of songs, you access Creations and that's as far as this version goes. To play the rest, buy it. Vote up to save everyone else the 5 minutes of Googling walkthroughs and bug reports.

Nice game, enjoyed the... unusual arrangements of some of the songs :)
I'd be tempted to actually buy the full thing if it was cheapish.
