Fun game, but be cautious when doing the math! The bank says "boosts x2.5", but this isn't accurate: it's really "adds 1.5 of base". So two banks don't give you (2.5)^2 = 6.25 of the output, they're just each worth 1.5 offices per adjacent office.

I placed the gas burner, surrounded by level 28 generator 2s, and everything exploded. I did it in a way that every other tile in the area was a gas burner and every other tile was a generator 2, that way it would be like having one generator per. I saved up for weeks to get it. Everything exploded. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm looking for discussion of reactor design (for the 1-cell 4-cell 8-cell), with Generator 4 and Protactium levels. The Kongregate Forums are gone, and I don't see a Reactor Idle Discord channel. Does anybody know of a forum / wiki for good later game design ideas?

I can't believe I saved up 500 billion research points for days in hopes that the unlock with allow me to access what I desperately need, only to find what I needed cost 50 times 500 billion. This is nearing hostile levels of intentionally idle.
I am simply not going to keep this window open for months to buy a single upgrade, to make use of the power generators I have already upgraded.

as of today, the bonus clicks are not showing up (accumulating) at all for me. they've consistently worked for the past couple years. is there something different? i'm using firefox.

It would be good to be able to read the current amount of max heat in all types of elements. I'd be interested in seeing how much heat is in the isolation & water pipe cells, to gauge how much heat those cells are letting through / conducting to the adjacent cells.

suggestion for a tiny update:
it would be nice to have +/- buttons for the isolation upgrade in the build mode for each expansion. so you dont have to pause the game for finetuning the system.

somehow the heat and water likes to flow more to the upper left than bottom right.
making it impossible to have a symetric layout that is balanced.
there is something wrong with the system.
i guess its more of a challenge, but it is pretty annoying when you think of a layout and it get torpedoed by the imbalance. :/ is it a bug or is it a feature?
very nice idle game, tho.

Wander, if you're still looking, it works like this: Generator I has no water. Gen II uses 1 water per 100 heat. Gen III uses 1 water per 200 heat. Gen IV uses 1 water per 300 heat. I think there might be some wiggle room in those numbers, but that's a good estimate to get you started.

...Anyone know how much water helps a generator deal with heat? because i'm scared of re-designing my entire plant to incorporate it, just for it to constantly explode because i can't calculate it's heat-conversion-capacity anymore...
