I don't think gates like me... they seem helpful for two seconds until I hit the plane/balloon/ufo that's off the screen.

Please insert better collision detection? And how about a reset button? I think 3/5. It was an okay game, but it has a lot of things that make me scream in frustration (and not about my inabilities, but about the mechanics)

Scientist - "Make sure to launch the rocket when the skiies are cluttered with planes, hot air balloons, satillites, and UFOs. Also make sure there is plenty of dark clouds so lightning can kill the engines and plenty of wind especially in space so the rocket can fly into stuff." Pilot - "That sounds dangerous and will slow us down from getting into space trying to dodge objects..." Scientist - "Don't worry about that, theres plenty of fuel cans suspended in midair as well as money and some strange upward thrust engine." Pilot - "Okay, but what if something does goes wrong, is there a parachute?" Scientist - ".........sure."

Don't use a MOUSE to steer and power the rocket. At some point, you will reach an altitude that won't even permit those using a MOUSE to go any higher.

Bumping into a gate shouldn't count towards hull damage. Otherwise, good game. 3/5 or 4/5. I'll know for sure after a bit more playing time. Not very realistic, though. I mean, seriously, who uses an actual rocket to get into space? Everyone knows it can only be done by sling shotting a hedge hog through the center of the earth. O.K. so I'm not very original; so sue me.

That gives me an idea for a game. Player is a lawyer tossing brief cases at corrupt judges who fight back by throwing gavels. Damn! Wish I knew how to programme in flash.

A few tips for hard badge: Get full fuel consumption reduction, air resist, manuverability fuel tank and thrust. Do not use boosters and slowly continue up while collecting fuel tanks.

You don't need those accelerators to get to the moon, they will just get you killed :P And for the hard badge, you should use the 4th engine that way you don't go that fast so you can easely dodge everything :P I did the hard before I did the medium badge haha :D

(continued) 6) Avoid both clouds and obstacles, this will let you not spend money on Lightning Protection. Also Good Weather is $10k worth and comes earlier than Ace III, which helps earning that one. 7) Stick with smallest hull, and don't upgrade fins past level 4. Emphasize on fuel tank upgrade prior to engine, if you can. 8) Get them achievements. My best result is day 16, but I lucked out with 2 consecutive boosters that gave me Speed IV and $10k at day 13.

Some tips for you badge hunters: 1) USE MOUSE CONTROLS! It eliminated bad effect of wind ENTIRELY. 2) Learn to fly at a slight angle leftwards, this way you could get more money and fuel. 3) While you're under day 15, try to learn how to enter boosters without hitting them, with mouse it's easier. 4) If you're entering a booster, push thrusters, this sometimes adds just enough speed to get a higher "Speed" achievement. 5) Enclosing mouse to the rocket stops thrusters, distancing activates thruster again. If you need to take a fuel that requires maneuvering down, use stop thrusters feature to get it, then use boosters to regain speed.
