Came out of a 10,000 foot dive and landed right on the launch platform. Didn't explode until I lazily rolled off onto the ground. :P

I love the game. I also like it when you get small upgrades from beating achievements that help you out. Also i liked how you did not get certain upgrades till you experienced a problem that needed them like not getting hit by lightning. Its like they were like hmm never thought that would be a problem better upgrade the circuit surge protections. Keep up the great work.

Well cadet, if you hit an airplane, you'll probably die a horrible death. But don't worry, if you hit the ground, the ship will just bounce a bit!

why is there always an obstacle right in front of the gates?
evertytime i go through one i always hit something......

I like the general idea, be it a hedgehog, shopping cart, or penguin, and the toonish graphics are fun, but the keypress detection is atrocious.

Additionally, I would like to know when I am struck by lightning clearer. Perhaps a black flash on the rocket. Then I would know.

The best way to get the Hard badge is to just start and stop your thrust. Granted it's slow but it will prevent you from colliding with obstacles (which can be especially maddening when you smack into a plane right after take-off...)

I would kick this scientist out of my rocket company when the answer to the question "how do I get my rocket back and also the astronauts" is:
"Back?! Well, we just let the whole thing bump into earth from about 250.000 feet and build the whole stuff again. Don't mention the astronauts wife, we will tell here he died during bumping into a realy big thing."

The only thing I didn't particularly care for was going through an acceleration gate only to be propelled full speed into a UFO or a plane or some other obstacle. If they were appropriately called "suicide gates," I wouldn't have tried to use them as often as I did.

I hate how zoomed-in the camera is for the first 75k feet or so of each launch. It makes the hard badge far more frustrating than it has any right to be, since with the best engine you have too much momentum for "just turn off the engine if something is coming up" to work well -- half a second doesn't decelerate you enough to avoid the booster gates of YOU FAIL. The rocket's hitbox feels a little "off," too -- there's been plenty of times where I've seen open sky between my fins and a booster gate during my entire pass through it, but still taken damage.

The weather forecast for this week: Monday, strong wind. Tuesday, air planes. Wednesday, UFOs. Thursday, balloons. Friday, storm clouds. Saturday, random floating money. Sunday, random floating fuel tanks. This is the perfect time to launch rockets up into space!

*flies along in a Biplane and gets knocked out of the sky by a rocket, and parachute out*
Oh, so that's what a no fly zone means.

The view in the beginning is ridiculously small for the speed you are going at when fully upgraded. The first 30 seconds is all luck when going for the Hard badge, and even after that there is WAY too many accelerators, they dont help either, they are bulky and way too easy to hit. Im not complaining, just suggesting a bigger viewing range at the start and accelerators made smaller and easier to avoid.

the idea has been done before but its a nice take on it. 5/5 i just wish you hadn't made the result screen come up so quick. you obviously took the time and effort to animate the destruction of the space craft. would be nice to see it actually happen

Why bother with rocketry? Just find whoever figured out how to get wads of cash and jerry-cans to hover in mid-air and get them to tell you how to levitate into space!

News reporter - "In more recent news, a space ship, designed by professor Watchamacallhim, crashed today. this botched up spaceship, collided with 27 aeroplanes on its descent, killing at least 30 people. It was later found that the professor had in fact decided to NOT fill the fuel tanks, required to make full ascension into space, fully knowing that there would be some form of failure in flight. The FAA has made this announced its disgust in professor Watchamacallhim's action. He is due to be executed in a week"

News Anchor: "This just in: A plane has crashed somewhere in the atlantic ocean and there were no survivors. Pictures taken from satelitte show a cylindrical object hitting the plane mid-flight. Also, the government has continued to fund the new space rocket project."

One annoying problem, the hitbox for the rocket is a little bigger than the rocket itself, so everytime you go through a gate on an angle, it completely wrecks your rocket

I want to see my rocket smash and explode in a burning fireball of death, not some statistics screen... :) My favourite intro to a game so far too, nice and uncomplicated! 3.5/5

it sucks that when trying to go through the boost gates you either hit the side of them of it flings you into a plane at a deadly speed :(

I just picked up the hard badge, and I just wanted to make a couple of comments. The non-zoomed out view for the first 30K of flight is incredibly annoying while going for this badge. Random objects appear way too quick at the beginning of the flight to maneuver out of the way with such a limited view. Also annoying is just how unforgiving the hit detection is for the in-air booster gates. I finally gave up on trying to use them after the umpteenth time of experiencing a phantom hit while trying to gain a boost. Still, I liked the game enough to keep playing to get the hard badge despite these annoyances. Overall, good job.

44, with multiple screw ups.. There's a lot of games like this one, but this is the first time i've seen one where the higher you go, the EASIER it gets. Normally games of this type get more difficult as you go up, with more and more obstacles.. but here because it zooms out more and more the further you go, it gets easier and easier, which is really strange.

I love it not for the gameplay mechanics or interesting upgrading scheme, but for the Kool-Aid man cheering me on every time I get an achievement.
