I HATE how random everything is! With every upgrade sometimes I'll get near the moon and other times I'll die in 3 seconds. Not to mention the fuel problem. I once got 12 fuel refills and still didn't make it. Absolutely frustrating.

And yes darkassasin, and not to be mean, but it is the most expensive. There are less expensive ones that do look dirty though.

I won't be getting the hard badge, but I have to say it's really nice to be able to buy the most expensive thing without needing to buy the shitty thing right below it first.

very good job. instead of launching a pink bison or turtle or hedgehog, i launch a rocket. At least you dont have to make a big sign thats says *NO TURTLES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO GAME. WE DO NOT HATE TURTLES AT ALL* or somethin like that *AND THE CROWD GOES WILD * bravo bravo bravo. Many upgrades,collectables,and you cant win by just holding the right arrow key for speed and hoping you dont hit anything along the way. 5/5 keep it up

A good perk to buy would be 'remove idiot placing 'helpful' boosters' or 'reduce booster incidence'. Trying for hard badge, every ding seems to be from boosters littering my path.

Astronomers are currently trying to figure out why about a 100 meteorites are all falling into a certain professor's backyard. Meanwhile, how is the professor's house still intact? It's repetitive, but it's also fun trying to not get hit. 4/5 for the launchers.

I like how when you're trying to reach the moon the first time the speed-ups are your best friend but when you're going for the hard badge they suck so much lol

Has anyone else noticed that you could create an entire game of just the rocket plummeting to the earth and taking down as many flying objects as possible. 20x biplane chain.

OMG i switch to lower engines to try for the hard badge but my stupid rocket runs out of fuel at 240k feet. FUUUUUUUUUUUUU

If you hear the fuel warning and there's no fuel nearby, tip the rocket to one side. As you fall you can pick up a fuel and start flying again. :)

To get the hard badge, I recommend the 3rd Hull, and 4th Engine. Maximum everything else. The third engine doesn't provide enough thrust to get you up to 250k. Make sure to avoid the speed gates, because most of the time, they will speed you right into a plane, ufo, etc. Good luck.

I hate going through the speed boosters. more often than not they will damage the ship, or just shoot me into the arse of an alien spaceship. Oops, am I allowed to say arse?

I've hybernated my laptop. Now the game is sped up so much that a single collision one-hit kills me. :) I reach 60k feet in 0:15 seconds. Wow.

Is it just me or are the first 50k feet just luck whether you hit anything or not, why wait so long for the camera to zoom out?

My score for game completion is 25 days. Level 3 Hull, Level 5 Fins and Boosters, Maxed Fuel Tank, Engine and all upgrades except Lightning Res (lv9 out of 10). Collected every Achievement except Veteran, Earth Defender and Expensive III. Anyone feel like trying to trump my score? Or has anyone done so already? ^^ Anyway it's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL game. I especially love the graphics... They remind me of something nostalgic. :o

Altimeter would be nice, for tracking progress, as would maybe counters for fuel, money, and repair pickups, and gates passed through. It's also incredibly hard to make it through a gate without taking damage from the gate itself.

Had the smallest hull with max everything else, just turn off the engine if something is coming up and its easy enough.
Just have to earn the hitting no thunderclouds & 20 UFO's acheivments for a full house :)

hirt is right. once i got to the better engines (and upgraded a few levels on the thrust improvements) it's just a matter of luck getting out of the lower levels. there's virtually no time to avoid things that appear dead ahead. so my suggestion would be, either get rid of the zoom, or implement, like it has been suggested, some kind of radar, that you could buy and upgrade as you progress through the game.

To get the hard badge: don't use the best engines, use the second best, (the slower you go the easier to avoid things), don't go through the booster-ports, use the smallest ship there is, some achievements give nice bonusses

With how determined it is to crash, I'm pretty sure that's a missile, not a rocket. I have a problem with acceleration gates. I keep going THROUGH them. Nothing wrong with that. It's the part I go through that is the problem. Curse those posts' tangibility!
