I love picross. The only complaint I have is that right click should have been the way to cross squares out--that would have kept it mouse only :)

Love nonograms, though it bugs me when levels show up that don't have a single row or column you can fill out to start with. Numbers fading signifies correct selections but it spoils the fun when you have to abuse a puzzle like that.

Tip: When the numbers fade out, that means you got it
You can experiment each line by adding whatever combination of squares and Xs if you are stuck
Once you have the line correct, the number will fade out

Why am I taking an octopus on the ark? The flood isn't going to hurt him any. In fact, it's his one chance to visit some of the less watery tourist spots!

the fact that even the walkthrough doesn't do somee puzzle's "legit" bothers me. for some puzzles seem to be unsolvable without trial and erroring until the number greys out -> means that some of the puzzles are badly constructed

after looking at the walkthrough i'm thoroughly disappointed that you can just trial and error with x's and if the numbers turn white it's right. that defeats the purpose of the game in my opinion. you can just trial and error for a couple rows and everything else falls into place just like that.

It's very frustrating that I can't press a button on my keyboard to switch between squares and xs. Pressing the spacebar doesn't work.

I apparently played this back in 2012. It was a bit of a shock when I came for the daily double and it said I already did this.

The game would be much better if the images actually even remotely resembled the bricks/blocks we put in. Some are extremely far fetched and that makes it very tough and unsatisfying.

If you get stuck, you can just guess- the numbers will only go grey if it's correct (and you've left no empty spaces adjacent or between it and the wall). It's a bit cheap though.

I remember playing a heaven&hell version of this which was great too. Good game except for that annoying laugh between levels. I did a good job. What is he laughing about??

Does anyone else have a problem with the courser sort of floating around the page? It take a pretty big effort to click a square precisely.
