Needs a few things: 1. upgrade/skill information. eg wtf does frog transform do? I tried to use it on the enemy to turn them into frogs. No, it turns my ninjas into frogs and they go ape shit crazy. 2. Needs a level selector or something like that, to grind skills up that you wish you had done in the first place, or because a certain level is kicking your ass. 3. A skill point reset button. 4. You should be able to just click 1 and send out a ninja. You shouldn't have to place it, since that doesn't really do anything. There's a few more things, but whatever. It's quite a fun game overall :)

Well I just beat the game on normal. Every level that doesn't have the grenade dudes was beat without losing a single life, though every level WITH those guys took about 5 times to beat each at least. Way too strong compared to the other units you fight. I found that spamming a group of katana units at the beginning of a fight and then using invisible and double damage just before they hit the first wave of enemies won it for me. I'd send in more katana guys, always refresh the invisible and double damage for the front lines, and use slow mafia if a chunk of enemies got by in case they don't attack. Gets really long and boring the last couple of levels, but at least I beat it. Fun game, needs a lot of balance with the difficulty.

Only played easy mode but it is possible to beat it in easy mode. Get the katana unit (the last unit upgrade). Just build katana only after that and even grenadiers can't do much against it. You will lose a couple of battles before you get katana but once you have it, the game will be a cakewalk on easy mode. After katana, upgrade attack and defense, then life and speed. After that get the spells upgrade and the second last spell with katana is just too overpowered.

Insane mode beaten! I think it might be great if I can scroll the screen faster, to make sure that all of my ninjas are still invisible

ok the strategy to this game is simple. upgrade to the 3rd ninja, upgrade frog. Each stage at the very beginning spam that 3rd ninja until you run out of money then turn that group into frogs and wait and dont spawn anything until you see the enemy. then spam ninjas again until your frogs return to kill the enemies near u, then after the returning frogs switch back, turn your huge group of ninjas into frogs, rinse and repeat. After the 3rd push scroll to the right a bit and keep your groups of non frogged ninjas frogged. Save up money and keep unlocking until you have the katana, then max out your stats.

The beginning levels were too repetitive to make me want to continue playing through the game. I love the title and concept though.

So i got to grenadiers and i have only unlocked to fukiya and frogs. I have tried all sorts of combinations but have no way to advance. Either needs ability to grind for more points, a grenadier nerf, or a respec option.

Did you not test out this game before releasing it? It's impossible to beat the grenadiers on easy... why is there even a hard mode?

Tip/Strategy: Use the number keys and the click instead of just using your mouse because you want to make sure your ninja's are as close to each other as possible for the upper hand. Also with this strategy its best to send in waves.. Example: say your at the very start of your game and you have 600 gold buy 6 ninja's and wait for them all to die off so you can dominate with groups.

ugh, I love the art style, but the game itself... Sorry, but it's just so boring, I have no control whatsoever over my units other than spawning/spamming units and the occasional spell if I can even afford to use one... There's ZERO strategy since it just boils down to "spawn a crap load of really strong guys and keep it up". I really want this to get better though so I'm not just saying this to be a jerk. It would be better if I could select a group or at least target an enemy to order my units to attack a specific unit like in an RTS or at least have some input as to how they operate. Additionally, I really wanted to play as the Mafia as a change of pace, from the title I thought that would an option. Melee power and speed verses faster firing ranged characters with less HP, seems like a fun premise for people to take sides on. Needs work to fix it up, but there's potential still here

For all those people who have lack of observation skills: The frog transformation is an assassin technique which gives high speed to those that transform. They reach the end of the right side and charge backwards. This enables them to attack enemies without being shot at and thus can kill without high deaths. Should ONLY be used on new summons.

i dont understand why the enemy moves left constantly killing all my ninjas while my ninjas hide behind trees and watch their friends die instead of attacking as a group like the enemy

all im gonna say is can I have a mute button? As good as the music may be to some people I would rather listen to my own as I play on these games...
