is it possible that the other empire just gets eliminated by barbarians on normal difficulty? xD that was sad haha they just had an unsuccessful invasion then they were invaded by barbarians. maybe i should try hard difficulty next then. i was looking forward to pouring thousands of soldiers into the enemy empire's lands xD

AI expansion and battle difficulty doesn't seem to scale with the players growth. the game would be a lot more fun if it scaled rather than just upping the difficulty to the point that barbarians kill you before you even get started. kind of disappointed that the game doesn't have more to offer.

An amazing game, over eight years old and still better than most other games on this site. Nice, calming music which suits the game and an interesting battle mode and a way to easily organise the many weapons and units this game has. Being able to advance onto new lands instead of just attacking the enemy outright makes the game more realistic, and getting more buildings when I conquer more land makes this already awesome game even better.

well, I think I found a glitch. If you failed to supply a house with food, you lost EVERYTHING in EVERY REGION. Plz fix.

No auto save and the "Quit Game" button in the menu is right next to the "Back to Game" button. You can guess what has happened >:|

XD the ai retreated on his last city, there's not much point he should have fought to the last man, he dies either way :P

I'd have to say that the only game that's close to as good as this in the strategy, war, city, fantasy, and upgrade section is Castle Clash.

Game has too many bugs still and you can be doing great and take over a new region and BAM! Most of your resources are gone in the new region before you can build a house. You transfer 50k in gold from your good region and BAM! before you build 1 house in new region the gold disappears. Even when you build a house and fishing hut... BAM all 122000 gold is gone by next turn. This game deserves a 0 star rating too bad the lowest is 1 star because it's over-rated at 1 star!!!

Mm. tried making each place balanced at first to produce everything. bad idea. best idea is to make a pearl farming place for cash, some food churner (probably with cows?), an iron mine/blacksmithing place or places churning out spears and swords, and just endless cavalry and super soldiers. at least, it worked for me. Takes a lot of resource management, which can be a pain, but the games fun. kinda sucks that late game your late places need to have massive housing to accomodate your armies.

Be awesome to make this into a multyplayer game, and maybe more units, graphics, choices, empires and story? That would make this game boss, it's still awesome and it's been out for a long time, make some more!!
