finished all the badges, i have to report a bug btw, some combo multi are badly scripted and they are spawning just a couple of pixels below platforms making them uncollectable.

lol i got both medium badges on my 2nd attempt of this game, my 1st attempt scored me 49k my 2nd attempt almost 3 million with a 25x combo that I don't know how I got as I do not fathom what raises the combo number

Controls were a bit confusing to use at first, I was confused between the flying and air time abilities. Still, a good game and it was very creative!

Wow you can literally get all 4 trophies in first run. Game is nice although clouds shredding your score are just stupid.

FloodRunner is a delightful idle runner when I'm up late with existential dread. Nothing beats running for the rest of your life!

So it's the same game over and over without ever improving your character? It's one of those frustrating games where you just feel like your character should be able to do more. 1/5

Wow, the penalty for touching the sky is a bit harsh
So its all right when the apocalypse does happen we will have dragons, superpowers, the ability to glide and all lava will be harmless!.... Just watch out for Creepers
'You have acquired angel status' is a much nicer way of saying 'you just killed yourself'
it will take 10 hours without dying to get half of the all-time winners score
Don't worry lava is completely harmless, water on the other hand...

Don't get me wrong this game, is quite good in its own way . I feel like this is the dark souls of platforming, with 3 lives, the controls aren't confusing its easy to master however the badge for the 1 million one is quite ridiculous per say took 1 hour highest score 200k that already is difficult to achieve switch it to impossible so i feel a sense of accomplishment after getting a badge that wasted my life away, the 50x combo and dragon badges are quite confusing to complete. So i guess is mixed feelings but hey this game is nostalgic and challenging.

It is an awfull game, also I made the error of choosing mouse as movement first and now I cant change it. I try to reload, delete data and reload again and again, deleta again, cancel mouse as control, but I can stil not get keyboard as control now. 1 star from me. Maybe the game could have could have gotten 1-2 stars more, but I cant play the game since I get stuck in the beginning, it is just not good enough.

Sometimes there is a massive lag before a jump and rn I just died because the avatar fell through all of the platforms straight to the water. Bless

Playing it back in 2011/12 and playing it now it's pretty clear that the game hasn't aged too well, but I do have to give it some kudos...
On the other hand, there are some things that were annoying then and still are now. The multiplier is difficult to raise since the level generation can leave you with no way to raise it, getting those flies stuck on you is a pain since getting them off only sometimes works, and it feels like getting all the badges is a massive undertaking because you have to run for so long. Who really wants to run for thirty minutes for a pointless badge?
I stand by what I said: the game has become dated. At the time this game stood out, but adding that with its flaws makes it drop under the title of 'good' even now.

1/5 boring and overused concept. graphics arent good and music does not exist. just another "distance runner" game which is suited for a mobile game rather than a flash game. its kind of annoying hearing my mouse click several times as a result from the lack of any music. also, it feels like the edges of platforms do not have good collision detection. from the looks of some badges and achievements, it seems like this game has a lot more to offer than other games in its genre; too bad i wont ever experience them because the beginning and presentation of the game deters me from going the distance and going for speed. 1/5 monotonous experience; dont try this game

Let's see here... I got all the badges on June 18, 2011. I guess I don't have to worry about grinding for today's BotD given the comments and the fact I rated it 3/5 Stars that it isn't that much fun. I'm somewhat surprised the average rating is 3.9/5 Stars.

@FarFromGruntled yeah, I'm getting that from the rest of the comments. Me, I just got it after my first kill (a bee-like thing, if it helps) in my second or third try, then stopped playing immediately since I could already tell this is a horrible, terrible excuse for a game, so I didn't experience that issue. Perspective is everything, I guess.

@sigarberto It's a nice idea, but even though I've managed to get the superman power-up several times, and have even killed a creature whilst powered up, the easy badge wasn't awarded and as a result I missed out on the Badge of the Day. That was last time round it was a BOTD... this time round it looks like the same thing will happen.

On second look, it seems to be entirely luck-based and I just got lucky the first time. Yeah, this is a shit game and an ever shittier pick for Badge of the Day.

@FarFromGruntled, come on, it's not that hard. Superman powerups start to appear pretty early, especially if you stay in the clouds. Once you get it, killing an enemy with it is as trivial as finding one, the big things near the bottom are ideal because they're a big target and stay still.
