Finaly beat this dang game. It is fun at first then just drags on by the end. As others have said focus on upgrading your attack. And make your way down to get rampage in the knight skills. Then nearly every battle will be casting it 3 times and switching to another window why he kills the next guy. I would get the shrines unlocked before doing the tournaments. They were not a problem but it took me a while to finally kill the dragon on the last challenge. He could not hurt me but we both kept reneging. After the knight skills get the every turn skills like regen and shield and pick up all the passive skills you can there is an extra crit and a Regen mana on normal hit. And finaly if you want to be cheap which you dont need get Disease spell it hurts, burns mana, and stuns. I cast all these on the last boss but could have killed him in one wave of attacks.

Also for beginners, who noticed they have no building spot for the catapult factory. Go for the southwest castle; it only requires frontline units to attack it and it'll give you that building spot. BONUS - if you can resist, do NOT build an alchemy bldg as your first; instead save that spot for a market, and the next spot you get for the eventual catapult plans (You won't need alchemist for awhile anyway). DOUBLE BONUS - if you follow the bonus advice, you can attack the east castle first - you still get the dialog 'Well, you beat the guardian of the West...'

For beginners: You can have 2 front units of the same type, aka, click the first unit twice, it will have two check-marks instead of one. Then you can do the first siege. (Since I've seen comments on people being confused about this)

@shadow_ship: Stables are a late game building. To make more buildings you must first find their blueprint, then find a place to build it.

Now I`m even more confused. I destroyed the Alchemist to build a market, but still i Need to build a stable or something to fight that Castle. I thought maybe you can buy a stable at the market. I`m lost. How can I unlock the second front unit? I did not receive any other blueprint and I unlocked all I could reach .

call me stupis, but I don`t find the Option to build another Building. It said I found new blueprints, but I don`t find them anywhere. Alchemist Building was still guided, but now I really find no Option where to select a blueprint or where to build somethin. Without two front Units no castle siege :-( anyone any hints?

A bit of a guide if you are struggling. Skill Tree: Get skills in this order: Sweeping Smash->Blood Siphon->Death Spell->All Crit Stats->Regeneration 2-> Any other stat upgrades. After that, you don't need anything else. Put all your souls into your sword, which will increase your damage and how much mana you get whenever you use your attack. Battle Gameplay: Regular Unit- Keep using sweeping smash until you run out of mana, then keep using your attack. Once you unlock the death spell, just keep spamming it. Strong Normal Unit- Use sweeping smash->attack->blood siphon until you run out of mana. Then spam attack. Only use death spell if you have at least 4 crit upgrades. Use health potions if you are dangerously low on health. Boss Battles- Use 2 death spells and a regular attack on your first turn. Then do a regular attack, blood siphon, then another regular attack on all of your other turns.

Yet a third comment....... there should be a replay button (R is he hotkey) on repeatable battles, makin farming easier.

The demon combo disease/cripple/curse is lethal for the bosses. Remember to cast silence and curse whenever they wore off. Spend your skill points mainly to gain this skills plus on mana and critical since this will affect the efficiency of the spell death.

Unable to progress game because siege requires 2 front lines, but the blue prints are unavailable for stable. Anyone have any suggestions?

Pro Tip: Later in the game, you can come back to farm souls on earlier levels, this is useful because soul upgrades *and purchases* are very important later in the game

this could have been a good game but there are just so many bad things. No way to choose what potion you use, can't see status during battle, unable to replace buildings, ...

Some strong points in this game, but lots to improve. First, it only needs about 1/4 of the battles. The rest, other than the tournament and boss battles, are tedious. Also, the army battles are too predictable (dragon + catapults = unbeatable), too long, and also too costly (you lose hundreds of men for each loss!), and you should be able to unclick an attacker. Also, show which monsters are susceptible to which spells.

need increase amount of moves in siege mode cuz only 3 moves per turn isn't enough specially against castles with 4k hp and 4 moves per turn.

Ok I don't know how to edit or remove a post so I will say this for anyone who may come here hunting for an answer to the issue of where to build the catapult factory. Click on your soldiers twice to attack the castles. You have to have two front lines but they can both be soldiers.

I have catapult blueprints and can't find anywhere to build them. I can't attack the second or third castles without the catapult and it won't let me build the ocean worthy ships without the blueprints which I am guessing are beyond one of the two castles I can't attack without the catapults.

everybody in this game is dumb. you cant fight a demon and win. and second all they need is a crucifix, a bible and holy water in order to defeat the demon

Pro tip: First get most of the passive skills at knight but dont take beatdown then rush for the army of the damned and no one will be able to kill you.
