Shrines are toooooooo damn imbalanced! Drop them!! Killed evry Boss with a single Spell (Army of Undead each 5,5k dmg) and final Boss with 2 attacks. Also the first castles are toooo weak! Killing the castle with catas is done in 2 rounds, while killing the troops would have taken 10 or so.
Game was freaking easy and thus boring.
3/5

Just a tip..
Making a game last longer doesn't make it better ..
Having 50 fights in a row that are the same then moving on too a different creature for a further 50 fights is completely ridiculous ..

A solid playable game for those who enjoy turn based RPGs, with a few flaws
Experience is linearly gained, but stats are cumulative (This means, exp to level up will increase more and more, but you always gain 100 hp, 15 mp, etc.etc.)
The skill system could have been simplified by removing the critical, magic power/mp, and health "skills" and implementing a stat system instead. Also, there is no way to increase natural defense.
Graphics are mid level. Not professional, but not quite amateur, and yet the game runs poorly.
Army battles could use some more depth. Leader powers and maybe a separate stat system that amplifies your force's attack/defense/abilities.
I enjoy the game, it's a bit longish when you need to grind for levels, but otherwise OK.

Tried to click randomly on units during battle mode, when they start attaking. As a result - enemy troops hit's themselves and i got -8 moves count, so it was impossible to make next turn. Sadly.

Buildings: none are particularly critical except for shrines. You get dragon automatically. Archers are nice, catapults fill that role nearly as well.
Siege: with catapults you can just pummel weaker castles and ignore the armies. You can only attack with 3 of yoru groups, so once you have ranged units, it's generally better to put footment up front and just let them soak damage, attack with your ranged.
Please + these if they were useful :)

General battle: Against casters and any melee which can cast regen (dinosaurs, mages, many bosses) You REALLY want to open up with a disease or silence unless you so overpower them that you can do 60% or more of their health in one round. Against bosses some sort of opening like disease, blast shield, regen will turn even insane fight manageable. If you get silenced, only attacks from the Knight tree will work, so it's good to have these as a backup, even though they are only about 70% as strong as magic. Mid-game I lost a couple fights due to silence since I had like 10 points in Knight so could not melee
Plan out your skill upgrades a bit so that you have some form of silence, some form of heavy healing, and some sort of major quick attack (from the deeper tiers)

Soul upgrades: The Sword upgrade gives you more points the more you purchase it. THIS is the place to put your points, and it's the only way to make swords competative with magic. Also makes your sword look cooler in case you care about that in a game with 1988 graphics.
Sideroutes: most are 100% useless. You don't need potions if you are playing right. Followers are not needed unless you are dying like crazy. Occasionally you get a useful blueprint, but none are critical. EXCEPT FOR ONE: Shrines give you 10% to all damage. You get them on a sideroute on the last island of the game (the one with a volcano) on a route BEFORE you do the first castle.
Fill your spare building slots with cash producers, it has SOME use unlike followers.

Skill Guide 2)
Swordsman tree has nothing to heal with: you will be pwned. Sweeping smash stuns nothing by midgame. Beat-down is nice though, and you can use it even if silenced. You want to jump STRAIGHT to that. Rest of the tree is not so great. Magic will do more damage, but is vulnerable to silence late game unless it picks up a silence from Demonic tree.
Demonic: The Silence tree: you NEED some version of this from the Demon tree. Some bosses cast regen and heal too much to ever kill. Disease spell works great for this as well, and is in a useful branch. Get Siphon early. it will make your life much easier. It FAR outstrips cure spell very quickly. Cure II is nice, but I beat the whoel game without getting it. Silence(or Disease) + regen + Siphon is everything you need.

Skill guide part 1. Magic system works like this: every upgrade gives you 20 or 25 more max, +1 more regen per sword hit, and +more damage. The drain life spell w Even if you are going heavy melee you NEED some magic upgrades. The Blood Drain and regen spells are critical to heal up. Magic gets better the mroe you invest b/c eventually you can get enough mana for a spell with just one sword swing. Energy burst is amazing with some magic to back it up.. the fire and ice spells are more expensive but same damage, except when it's some guys elemental weakness. Lightning is 75mp but 150% the normal nukes damage. Ultimate is 300mp but only twice lightnings damage. You want one of the ultimates eventually b/c there is a LOT of tedious fights to get through in this game so speed killing is the way to go

Good game but... Story is too long for the gameplay. The game is already too long & too easy so why would I want to do a New Game + ? Potions are stupidly used. (3/5)

So i fight through a tangent of 10 dinosaurs and it turns out my reward at the end is the ability to fight an infinite number of them?

Correction to my last comment: I WAS able to continue after closing my browser and reloading the game's page. Still, while it was locked, it showed three games where I only had one, and was COMPLETELY locked. I'm just glad I can continue!

I was loving the game until it completely locked up with a blue exclamation point (just after the fight with the village elder). After that, none of my save slots loaded, and the hour-plus I'd played went down the drain. Fun game, but track down the progress-killing bugs, please!

ok ummmm.....the spot you have to hit to get a crit is an inch long - easy - then it is a tiny little sliver and gives the same dmg if you get lucky enough to hit it... wtf. It should double or triple the dmg if you can hit that little pencil line. the stun effect costs 25 mana and does the same dmg too, even though it says it doesn't considerably more dmg... and hasn't stunned a single enemy - waste. Only good ones so far are steal health and curse.

Acquire Shrine blueprint. Change all previous build spots to Shrines except for Shipyards and Catapaults. Go from dealing 8k to dealing 29k. One hit final boss.

Can the developer fix the game soon? Cos the problems raised by our fellow gamers have been posted for like,a month already.PLS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

This game bored me as soon as the first battle began. Also, there's a lack of grammar in some cases. I also found that the 2nd mission made no sense because I technically never attacked in the first mission! That destroys the story...

It's not often I leave a review, I'm too old and don't care that much, but some things have to be stated about this complete and utter drivel. The game is too long by far, too repetitive, and too simple. I usually love these kinds of quick pick up RPG like battle crawlers, but this is terrible. The artwork is poor, the concept idiotic and unoriginal, and most importantly the game is no fun at all. There is potential, but until some serious revisions are done 1/5. Try harder next time.

@Gubaroli: The trick is to get silence (demon tree, its the face with a stitched-shut mouth) and keep them silenced. It lasts for 2 sets of turns, so if you were to full-out melee the entire time, you also wouldn't run out of magic.

Get rid of the stupid battle slider or fix it so there is not only once chance to hit it. Complete pointless time-wasting device.
