How to get the Easy / BOTD Badge: Choose Knight. Train Sweeping Smash. Just click through all dialogs quickly, no content there. To the right of the castle is a yellow battle icon. Click this for grinding souls. Strategi setting Sweeping Smash, Attack with sword (2x). Repeat if necessary. After 10 souls, upgrade sword in soul pit (lower right icon with three pink dashes) for 10 souls. Repeat until you have harvested 20 souls. Click cog wheel icon, return to menu, resume game -> BOTD. + so others can grind this

that bar where you have to time your click should go back and forth, one time is not enough. Graphics look old. I like old looking things but this is not good looking back then either in my opinion. Hovering mouse over things should show some jind of information. For example, in map view, I don't know anything about buttons at bottom of screen so I have to shuffle between them to find what I want. Achievements don't update unless I level up. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of other thiings but after BotD, I couldn't stay more.

BOTD hunters, finish the first two levels, then play the yellow level 15 times or so. Then head south. Your progress will only update when you level up, and the enemies to the south are worth more xp.

Pretty terrible. The dialogue is bland, the animation and sound are terrible, and the interface leaves quite a bit to be desired (small buttons, can't unclick anything in the inventory bar). Sort of looks like it is stuck in the 90's in terms of design...

finally all badges, so let's commentXD this game could be a winner if: 1. there werent broken abilitys combos like rampage/silence which make every fight nothing but a chore, 2.if there were any strategic advantage of using other then your standart units on siege stages (and the equally broken dragon later on), 3. if the upgrade system lose some of it's grind insanity by handing you 1 soul for every fight, even in tournamentsO.o. round it up with lag issues, uninspired artwork and a plot that has been done a bazillion times over it's a game for those only who can't let 80 points be untaken (like meXD)

I just got bored after awhile as the fights were really just....boring and didn't feel very strategic, hard or that there was any kind of escalation or advancement in the gameplay, just the same, repetitive thing as before, just more health on both sides.

1. it's somewhat laggy. 2. the transition between scenes are too long. 3. unable to deselect troop when you want to select other troop and accidentally click another troop. 4. 'element weakness' is just.. suck. i hit an enemy with ice weakness with ice spell and it deals the same damage as my thunder spell. 5. phoenix spell is too mp costly despite the small damage (around 2x thunder spell damage, rounded up). it helps to get rid of your opponent quickly in tournament when you build shrines in all of the available place though (i got around 20k damage and 1 shot almost all enemies)

Important note for anyone attempting badge of the day. The amount of souls are only counted once you level up. Meaning you need to level up with 20 souls for the easy badge.

BOTD Tip: While the game only updates your achievement status when you level up, you can "force" it to update by exiting to the main menu (Options Screen --> Return to Main Menu), then reloading your game (Continue Game --> Load a previous save). Saves some time to get the easy badge if you're getting tired of the grind.

Quality of life post for grinding all badges. Skillwise, grab all 5 point skills + Regeneration, then head for Beat Down and Rampage, grabbing Deadly Silent Spell once you meet spellcasters. Maybe some Critical Training before Beat Down. Tooltips messed up, all buff durations listed are in rounds (i.e. sets of 3 actions), and Deadly Silent Spell only has duration 2. Beat Down and Rampage greatly speed up the grind. Maintain Deadly Silent Spell every second round for bosses/tough fights. I spent all Souls upgrading sword, to speed up grind. For sieges you only need basic Soldiers + Catapults, and Dragon later on. Just target the castle with Catapults at all times, easy. Only other pickup you want is shrines on the first side path on Dark Force (final level). Also you don't get to Gosha through storyline, but you can visit from the map any time. Tourney is 10 battles in a row, mana regens between fights but not hp. No need to try final tourney until you've mass-built shrines everywhere.

Ok, the regen on some of these bosses is ridiculous. It's pretty much the only challenege in the entire game, and this "challenge" is just an hour or so drawn out battle while you slowly whittle away the bosses health because of said crazy regen.......

Holy moly this was one hell of a game, this game changed my perspective on life, the sheer edge that LethalRpgDestiny had as a character changed how i felt about RPGs and Video games in general. 5/5 10/10 X-play rates this game, 5 stars, outta 5

Ridiculous. The art is mediocre and quite simple while the game's system needs some work. OP bosses that heal too often, slow battling system, and dull, cliche dialogue. Overall 1/5*
Offer a fast forward button and it would have been a much better game if we were just able to, as Brian Doheny once put it, "Skip, skip, skip".

Well done BenSpyda. You managed to blend all aspects of a decent RPG together very nicely. Game got a bit laggy at times but, I enjoyed it from start to finish. Overall, I give this game 3 thumbs up. Oops.... so sorry, please ignore the middle thumb.

Im probably being super dumb, but where the hell can I find more blueprints for buildings or where can I build them? My area is now complete and I cant progress until I launch an assault, but I cant launch an assault without other troops, and I cant get any other bloody troops without buildings! lol! Maybe a more in depth tutorial could be available? Not that you should be forced to go through it, but that you could choose to do if you wanted to?

To those who are wondering... you get one soul per battle.Spoiler: I just finished the game and have all blueprints and most skills but have found no way to gain more souls per battle. Simply because every enemy only have one soul. Thus.... you think the battle mode where you defeat other army could give you lot of souls but it seems to give no reward.

When I first started playing I thought the number of battles should probably be cut in half. About 3/4th of the way through, I think it should be cut by 75%. Is regenerate glitched for the opponent or is their version supposed to never go away. Mine says it ends after 4 turns, but theirs does not seem to. It makes it so that I have to have silence and cast it every single turn until they die or run out of mana. I had to run away from a number of battles before figuring that out since I couldn't damage them fast enough to beat the regen.

I broke the castle assault. I used extra moves by accidentally double clicking the healers after it started the sequence.. Don't do that.

The game is not so hard as it is time consuming, A lot of time is needed to go through the repetitive gameplay which makes this boring, dull, uninteresting to play. Please make some changes in the combat system. The achievements give so few points for the time it is needed for them to be done.

For Badge of the Day: It only updates when you level, so you'll need to reach level 4. Go north till you fight the raptor, then just grind at the yellow spot that opens up, till level 2 or 3. Then go south until you find the next yellow spot and use that to grind through level 4. Very easy, but very tedious.

Let me sum this up. Battles are boring. There's no indication as to the first place to go. Continent maps can't be dragged. All this makes for a horrible game and this BotD is going to be a tedious one to grind though. Good luck to those who want it, I know I'm going to need all the luck I can get.

i think i found a major glitch....a level was completed....before that was after 2 bosses....which i didn't fight....please fix someday dev...please?

When you go for the knight branch first and get the rampage you can kill most villains with 2 attacks which saves quite some time.
