you should be able to select your units and command them to do somthing like target one person or charge or fall back and heal or somthing +

you know, at first the giants nightmare seemed like it would crush any humans in it's way cause of how massive it is. too bad i was wrong.

Fun, but I only end up using one type. Could you add upgrades that are specie-specific. Give the spike thrower enhanced range or fire rate, etc. Cool idea, though I will wait for the sequel.

dud i cant do the level with the anti air canons. how did you guys do it?
also the big monsters the dont fly with giant claws the should be able to attack not just buildings too

The purpose of units other than fliers and the purpose of buildings:
It is possible to avoid killing like half of the level in later levels. In later levels bring 3ish Giant Nightmares and a bunch of Spiked Crawlers. The nightmares only attack buildings. They quickly destroy enough to give you the nuke power, so you nuke one side of the map while they attack the other. It's actually faster and easier than fliers!

I kinda wish that there was a list of enemies, and you could label them in order to attack for each unit. some wouldnt have it because they can only attack buildings, thats ok. but for the death bringers, that would definitly be a plus, and it would make the game a 6/5

soldier 1: where are all the others? soldier 2:killed by flying aliens. soldier 1: what do we do? soldier 2: we wait and remeber we cant put our guns pointing upwards

Death Bringer: gee, I sure wish I finish killing all these harmless units quickly in order so that I can reach soon those cannons that are dezimating my health.

Soldier 1: Hey, there is a giant alien bal thing flying above us. What should we do?
Soldier 2: Ignor it and continue guarding this totally unimportant area.

*sigh* There are so very many things that could have been better with this game. If a tuned-up sequal was made, it could do well.

Only things you need are both fliers and mines...Fully upgrade them each, start with mines on anti air ground units then 8ish of the first fliers and 4ish of the 2nd flier. I made it through most of the game just using the 2nd flier but the end levels require the first fliers to take out enemy air units and mines for spiffyness.

giant flying bug things you dont need to jest destroy the flying units go down and eat people its better than being all bord jest hovering EAT THEM!!!!

Why won't those building specialized combat aliens attack units, when they finish mopping up all the buildings they attack units for the last few seconds and they absolutely **** them. I wish I could set the AI for my units beforehand. all flying attack only anti air, for example. And if all anti air died, then they would switch to standard AI. Set grunts to attack building and they would rush around destroying buildings. Just a thought.

seeing as you dont really get a bigger army to play with for the last 10 missions or so and having anything but the flying units. It seems pointless to have any othe units in the game tho i enjoyed using the first ones you get :) they are pretty fun but useless like any the rest. Why use 200 points on a unit that cant handle more then 3 ground soldiers before dying? seems like waste of time. Like some others said use 2-5 mines and rest flying and win without any trouble.

A stirring example of why things with ranged weapons will always defeat things without ranged weapons...now if only the designer had gotten that concept.
