I'd really like to be able to see your score while in game, not just your current money. For the badge, I kept playing far past what was enjoyable just to make sure I had a high enough score. Turns out I had almost twice what was needed (60k) when I finally suicided.

yay! only had to beat up the final boss twice (and die just before facing it the third time) to get 35997 points, and considering i started with a best score of 4,556 I'm happy, still a great game 5/5

Хорошо, но красный крест отвлекает внимание, и мешает увернуться от пушечных ядер. Было бы намного лучше с черным или в крайнем случае с зеленым крестом.
Good, but the red cross distracts the attention, and hinders dodge from cannonballs. It would be much better with a black or at least with a green cross.

@Duveltje - You can only get 2 flags that way though, and you need at least 3 to max all stats. If you select the last chest and click buy twice (requires 2 free slots and $3250) you will get a flag even if you already have one. Repeat.

wow that is addicting ...fast paced anytime shop with a pause to get ready before dieing.. and the loot system.. quite a bit replay power hehe

Dyon is correct, mostly. If you click on anything clickable, the game pauses. wait a few secs, and he talks to you. then the last thing he says is giving you gold.

If you want to get the hard badge, don't try to dodge bullets. You are not Neo nor Phil Hellmuth, you are Jack Sparrow. And when bullets are flying around, Jack Sparrows knows to run away as fast as he can!

Love it. There is just one suggestion I have. Could you possibly make it so you could be able to buy health in the shop, of course a limited source. Again, it's just a suggestion and it could really help you get a bit further. Thanks for reading :]

Awesome game, great concept and a lot of fun. Could use more health drops though, after maxing out my starting money all that is keeping me from getting the hard badge is getting hit too many times and not healing enough...

For those having trouble, try getting higher loot early. Once you have 1250 starting gold, buy the top loot item, then the ship upg, then the second highest loot. This maxes out your loot, you don't need to buy any more. Getting the top flag and then the top weapon is your next priority. I found the best end set up to be top flag, top loot, top weapon and second flag. Keep in mind the higher your loot, the quicker the anchor spawns.

You can, you have to drag the music off, not click. Click on a bar and drag it left off of the bars and it'll shut off

@shadow9451 Click off the game screen so it pauses and wait until the pirate offers to pay you to come back. After that, DO NOT refresh the page. The next time you die you will get your starting money.

MustardScroll, if you didn't notice, your starting money increases when you get more score and die, and you can upgrade things to like 3rd tier straight away without having to beat the bosses first

To get the Hard Badge (and 100% completion after FIVE 99% runs), I got all of the medals and level 10 so I had $3,615 to start.
At the beginning of the game, I upgrade the ship twice and buy the Level 4 Loot/Magnet and Level 3 Weapon. After the first boss, I bought the Level 4 Flag. Before the final boss, I sold the flag and the L3 Weapon and bought the Level 4 Speed and Level 4 Weapon. After the 3rd boss, I bought the next ship upgrade and the Level 4 Flag. 3 Final Bosses later, I had 30,000.

You should first max loot+magnet and after shipspeed. For the second boss buy some Damage and sell it after the boss. You will be able to get more then 20 000 money before (=score) before the third boss. Just focus on getting the boxes and try not to kill ships. For the 3rd boss sell all +loot/magnet and buy max dmg max speed and firerate. After the last boss sell firerate and buy magnet/loot again ... easiest way to get the 30k

My old high score was 17.9k, prior to beating the game. Then I blew through the final boss, killed loads of ships after, and almost killed him again, yet my score for that round was only 13k. Can someone explain to me how scoring works?

How the hell does it make sense that it takes me close to an hour to get past the second boss, when I'm able to not even be hit on the third boss?

To completely mute it, Click on the main screen and drag the bar all the way to the left. You have to drag to mute it all the way. +1 so people stop QQ'ing about it.
