Should have more anchor drops so you can get health back, difficulty curve is way too steep, money isn't earned fast enough. Not a bad game though. 3/5

Really cool, the starting money thing was really cool. Separates it from the rest of the upgrade games. Awesome game!

I cannot, after 20 tries, get the submarine. When the things expand it ALWAYYS gets me, its too fast for even a fast-upgrade ship to get out of the way.

It's an especially nice touch that you have no idea where the map edge is, so you can be thoughtfully pinned against the border with no maneuvering room or even an idea you're in trouble.

You *can* turn off the SFX/Music entirely: click+hold on the sound bar and drag all the way to the left (over the words). This will leave the bar empty and the sound completely off.

Really?! No save?! You can restart but once you close your browser and return to the page, all your progress is lost!

it's annoying that you can't turn off the music. it's just possible to turn the volume down, but you can't turn it off completely. besides of that a great game! 5/5

For the final boss, sold all my loot/flags and brought +3 and +2 weapon and fire rate, however, I still can't beat the final final boss. It's frustrating.

A tip for getting the hard badge: boss arrival is triggered by killing a certain number of mooks. I abused this to get my ship fully upgraded before reaching the final boss. (1) At max level, buy the first two ship upgrades. Get loot/magnet 4, speed 4 and loot/magnet 3. You want to minimize killing mooks so that you can collect as many treasure chests as possible before the boss arrives. You can kill the first boss with basic weapon and easily survive stage 2 with speed 4. (2) Don't upgrade till the second boss arrives. By then you should have enough money to upgrade your ship again and buy flag 4. With good evasion skills this will get you past the second boss. (3) Keep farming chests, don't upgrade till the final boss arrives. You should now have enough money to upgrade your ship fully and buy literally any stats you like.

Just a note about getting free gold from the pause screen. That doesn't mean to press space to enter the upgrade menu, but to click off to the side of the screen so that the game pauses and asks where you went. you'll see lachs picture in just a few moments, not minutes.

So if you mouse outside the game area, the mouse gets "stuck", which means you're just sitting there until you move the cursor back into the game area. This #$*ing sucks, for obvious reasons.

Definitely a frantic and difficult game for sure. It's easy to forget there are red cannonballs around when there's so much gold to pick up. I'll definitely keep trying for that $30,000+ badge. 5/5
