Ok, I've been killed at least ten times now because of the flash window losing focus and no longer allowing me to move or shoot. Sometimes it even scrolls off screen and I am near dead before I can get the window back. Other developers have implemented automatic pause on focus loss, it would certainly benefit here. Also, make the crosshair bigger and brighter please, it's very easy to lose track of in the midst of fire and explosions. Will rate 5/5 if these issues are fixed.

One of the most common ways I make Gunbot die is by trying to double jump up a platform, bonk his head on the underside of a thick platform, and fall in the lava. :P :(

Some things that make gamers hate your game... 1. getting hit from things shooting off screen 2. Mobs being able to shoot through platforms and the player can't 3. Mobs being able to fly through solid obstacles 4. Sometimes being able to jump through a platform and sometimes not... These of course have only to do with this game. The best gun (most expensive) sucks, go with the laser, since you can be just as cheesy as the mobs by firing through objects, you still can't kill things off screen like they can but at least it's not as bad.

Two things I'd change to improve gameplay: 1) Context sensitive pause. Any game that has you moving the mouse around to aim/shoot you're going to accidentally click outside the game window. When this happens the game should pause automatically. This is made even worse by the fact that the game doesn't give you control again until you click meaning you get beat up because you went off screen but can't even move when you move the mouse back. 2) On platforms that can be jumped through let me push "down" to descend through it. Dodging would be improved if I could jump up through a platform then drop back down easily. Other than that, very fun!

Great Platformer. It's been painfully far too long since I've played a good platformer. The guns aren't overpowered, and it poses a challenge from beginning to end. I won't finish it, not because I don't want to, but because it's 3AM, I've been playing for two hours, and I got to get to sleep and I'll probably(sadly) forget about this game tomorrow lol

To all the people getting annoyed by exploding when you touch water - I get ya, and feel your pain, but you're playing a ROBOT. I think that is enough explanation.
But on to the game itself: I really enjoy it, but the money bubble things are really frustrating, especially falling into water. How about you make it to where money just automatically collects? Let it bounce into the air and disappear after a second - we've already beaten the baddie, and we want our reward! Like Blue_Hedgehog mentioned, you should fix the random ledges and platforms that we can't jump through (when they're identical to other platforms we CAN jump through) or shoot through, even when enemies can shoot through them. And perhaps you could put that S key to good work, and let us drop down a level (assuming there's one below it, of course)? That'd be awesome.

You CAN shoot through that, if you're standing right next to it. You can also scroll WAY offscreen. These two 'glitches' combined make the last level a breeze.

Love the character design, music and of course intriguing plot-line, but as game-play goes, it needs a bit of work. Like a swim function. And a "monsters can't shoot through walls" function. :o

Sometimes you know a game is awesome as soon as you start playing. Sometimes you think "Oh that money is floating on water so I can retrieve it". And sometimes you die.

Music is pretty great, and I honestly think you could make this into an old school platformer on steam or a console if you expanded it. Very quality game. Just basically add more levels, and raise the level cap, add some more enemies and it would be even better. As is it's 5/5 though.

Our hitboxes are HUGE compared to our enemies. Thus giving the advantage to Spammy McRocketson. Also our guns do not feel that powerful, it is very hard to tear through the enemies. Besides that, this game is a 5/5

I really enjoyed this game. Although, on the second Boss, one minute I could jump up through the platforms, and the next minute I couldn't. It was really frustrating. Still. 5/5.
